I just want to express that I know my way around this router, it's setup correctly for my speeds.

I have gigabit internet and decided to try the Netduma as my main router.

Here are my speedtest results:

Internet Connection settings:

Download: 1000 <<>> Upload: 1000

DOWNLOAD 336.23 Mbps <<>> UPLOAD 552.76 Mbps

When changing connection settings to:

Download: 336 <<>> Upload: 552

My speedtest results drop to:

DOWNLOAD 307.51 Mbps <<>> UPLOAD 521.80 Mbps

Speedtest results from my Asus Gigabit Router:

Download: 1264 Mbps Upload: 767 Mbps

They're some insane speeds! Check out the guide MoD BoX linked you, and make sure all these settings are inputted:

- Type in the speeds you pay for in Set Bandwidth (NOT the speeds you get from a speed test)

- Reactive Algorithm
- 100% anti-flood
- Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc
- Disable deep packet in misc
- Enable turbo mode
- Enable super turbo mode
- Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds.
- Do a wired speed test from a PC

Also, what's your current setup? Is it option A: Modem -> Router -> Netduma or is it option B: Modem -> Netduma -> Router?

I don't use a modem, I think its called an Optical Network Unit which I plug Ethernet directly from our wall into the Netduma.

So: Wall -> Duma

Other than that, as stated, everything is correctly configured. The limitations seem to come from the netduma  software.

The max speed of the Netduma is between 800 - 900mbps. That is the only limitation. Did your ISP not provide you with a router / modem at all? You could potentially just use your Netduma for the Geo-filter and get your speeds from the Asus router. You're very unlikely to ever reach 1200mbps though.

The software is setup in a manner that it cannot handle those speeds, much less 800-900 Mbps.. The router specs perhaps, the software no.

What I'm saying is that, when using the Internet Connection settings and setting my speeds at 1,000 Mbps Up and Down the router maxes out at 336 Mbps with everything setup correctly.

If I change the speeds to 336 in internet connection settings it drops to 307.

The software is still limiting my connection.

Regardless, the max speed I can expect to get from a software level is 336.
