The reason I'm using reactive is that I get less bufferbloat this way but in game, reactive or pre doesn't seem to make any difference. Typical in game ping is around 20ms. All wired connection. I'm on a Virgin UK 200d 12u line. The only thing I haven't gotten around to trying is Pingplotter although I suspect my lag is down to being on a Virgin line (I don't pay the bill so no choice) Heres all my settings...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 24, 2017 Administrators Posted February 24, 2017 Okay so your base ping is fluctuating by about 10ms so that will may be affecting your online experience. I assume you're in the UK so would recommend moving your location so you're getting more of a UK host. I would also recommend disabling UPnP forwarding in miscellaneous settings as you may be getting port conflicts. Though in general 20ms for a game is great so shouldn't be experiencing much lag.

When I first got the Duma (about 4 weeks ago now) I had the circle over UK only but wasn't having a great time and heard about the french and dutch dedis so I've moved it around alot. At the mo I'm actually using the CoD Ultimate profile that comes with the Duma so only really connecting to UK anyways. Okies, I'll give disabling upnp a ago when I play tonight and let you know if any changes.

N3CR0 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Gone back to setting the geo over french and dutch for tonight since the UK dedi is defo shocking tonight. Its like pre Duma for me lol. I guess I can just put my problem down to being with Virgin and like I said before, its not my choice so can't do anything about that.

Oh well It is defo better with the Duma than pre Duma, alot better but it does suck when this happens... just lately when I'm one kill from a Warden as well GRR! In the future, I'll look into changing ISP if I can. Thanks anyways Fraser
