RL317
I recently started using my Netduma through the BT Smart Hub that acts as my modem, with the R1 in its DMZ. It's been working just fine but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to make the Smart Hub less... "routery" in order to leave that job to the Duma. I already had WiFi on the Hub turned off but I came across a guide that suggested turning off DHCP on the Hub. Makes sense, I guess, since DHCP is enabled on the Duma by default. I turned it off but could no longer get a connection through the Duma LOL, so I used the Hub's reset button to send it back to default settings and set it back up again, minus DHCP off of course Sorted everything out on the Hub GUI, loaded up the Duma GUI on my phone and decided to do a random diagnostics test. Now normally when I ping 8.8.8.8 through the Duma I'll get an average 8.8ms, sometimes as low as 8.5ms, sometimes as high as 9.2ms but never really straying from those numbers. I ran this test and suddenly it's in the low 7s. Naturally I'm not complaining; I just thought it would be a good idea to ask one of the wizards among you how this could be possible. As far as I can remember I've only ever had 8.6-9.2ms to Google on the diagnostics test, but now it won't go above 7.8ms. I doubt I'd ever been having any issues as far as DLM or interleaving go because I haven't had any line faults, and I don't spam the power button on and off. The Hub stats have always shown my latency type as fast path too. Weird, interesting... and not unwelcome
Zennon
Its a good thing either way It could be your IPS has changed its routing, Google's DNS is behaving better than it usually is, its sometimes a dog. I always test with Ping plotter as you can pick your own IP and see changes in real time and plot form. But you have a great ping, have fun gaming

RL317
Yeah I normally run a PingPlotter but the diagnostics button is a nice quick cheat button compared to getting the laptop out haha
TheMack_Is_Here
I'm getting ready to move to the UK so I can play on the servers over there. These ISP's over here are so limited but I see y'all in the UK and I'm like... lol Do you have a spare room is what I want to know??? I'll take care of the light bill; it'll go up with me playing COD all the time. lol Great stats man!!!
Stealth_01
I had the same results as you did, my ping went lower everytime I used a new bit of kit. But mine kept creeping back up after a day or so. But hopefully this doesnt happen with your line.
