Special_Ed
Sorry for butting in here fellas. Just wanted to insert that the red cat cable supplied with my R1 was faulty. When I used another one the R1 worked as advertised. Toby says he's using the one that came with his R1. Might try a different cat6 cable as suggested. Not the netduma teams fault. Cat cables are notorious for being flaky at times even when new!

toby jugs
If I run a speed test though my android phone on the speedtest app I too only see my upload goin up to around the same,I don't have fibre and have 1.5 up load,I know mines allways false because if I test it through my ipad I get 1.3 upload and the same on my xbox diagnosis, ive not read all the thread so I apologise for asking this but can you feel the connection struggling when gaming? sometimes but not often but when the upload is really, really low that's when i get most of the problems finding games

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 18, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 18, 2015 Make sure you choose PSK2, set the password & keep it enabled mate. Worse case scenario you can do a factory reset although you'll lost all your settings

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 18, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted May 18, 2015 havent hard reset the hub yet i disabled the wifi and things improved need to get the wifi back before i do anything else, can't figure it out Wifi back on the Netduma? Make sure you have set the settings similar to below: Obviously change channel, pass and SSID to one thats best for you but make sure you are using 2.4Ghz and that the password is long enough (I just checked on the chance log and it is 8 characters minimum). Once you have checked the above, try hitting apply and see if you get the Wifi up and running
RADDY1993
havent hard reset the hub yet i disabled the wifi and things improved need to get the wifi back before i do anything else, can't figure it out Then it must be something thats connected via wireless thats causing the problem, as i said turn of WIFI on the Hub and connect the Duma to your Hub then connect your PC to the Duma and try a speed test. Shorten the SSID and password down just to test - maybe it is an issue that they are too long. If that does work then maybe you can think of a shorter password
Zennon
Are you setting up the virgin hub there or the Netduma using the same info ?

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 18, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 18, 2015 glad its all sorted mate! We all have brain farts... I stupidly once set the Geo-Filter to http (i.e. websites) & forgot. Then I went to browser some sites and some worked like BBC & others didn't. I spent far too many hours for me to admit figuring that one out
