SwiftCookie
Hey! So this was just happening to me....It's like 3am here in South Australia and for some reason all the Duma/CoD IW MM wanted to do was connect me to a Japanese Ded. I tried temp banning it numerous times but it continued to join it. There were other Australians in my lobbies so maybe the Australian dedicated server in Sydney shutdown for this time of night/morning? I forgot to screenshot the ping but it was jumping from 0-999 and then even up to 1500 lol. Also I'm trying to figure out what that other red circle is in South Australia just above my location. It almost always appears there but it doesn't say it's a dedicated server. It's not me because I don't live up there, but I'm always being routed to there multiple times before It goes to whatever other server/host I join... ColonicBoom
The other red circle is probably a chat server. You're connecting to the Japanese dedi because of your Ping Assist setting.
SwiftCookie
The other red circle is probably a chat server. You're connecting to the Japanese dedi because of your Ping Assist setting. Didn't matter what I set the ping to, plus in Australia it's a lot harder to find games so you have to set things a little higher otherwise you don't find games. Sometimes the dedicated server for ps4 IW in Sydney is horrible with the ping jumping up to 1000 every couple seconds.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 3, 2017 Can you provide the IDs for both of those please so I can check them. So if you have strict on, ping assist 0 are you saying you can't get a game? I believe there is 2 servers in Aus that you are able to connect to if you expand your radius to the entirety of Australia.
