dylan_price
I recently purchased a R1. I have followed all of the configurations that I can think of. I keep getting booted with error code beaver. I also have 90 Megs at the router and only 65 at hte X-box.
ColonicBoom
I don't know anything about Destiny but how why do you think you are only getting 65mb at the xbox?
Mas7er Broda
Could it be because your congestion control is set to 70%?
dylan_price
So congestion control is set to 70% like the guide says. As far as speed...when I hard wire into the ISP source....I get 95 Megs. When I hardware into the Netduma I get about half that. And I keep getting connection errors. As Master Broda says, the difference in speed is (at least partially) because you're using congestion control. Regarding your Destiny issues, you need to detail your settings or we're just guessing. Start with screenshots of the following: Geo filter page. Miscellaneous settings. Congestion Control. To get your full speeds: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds Do a wired speed test from a PC
frustrated
Hi,make sure, strict is off when playing, also make sure the cloud has been flushed as Fraser is playing with different settings so untick auto cloud and bleeding edge and apply, then retick them and apply, wait upto 4 hours, then search for a game with geo off once you start matchmaking tick geo on and see what happens, when your kicked do you see any padlocks if so right them down and update them, in mislocated ids.See how it goes. ColonicBoom
Try this... Go to settings > miscellaneous. Untick auto & bleeding edge cloud. Choose the following numbers 30, 28, 28 Apply Leave it on these numbers. Don't click auto or bleeding edge. Play Destiny with strict off. Keep in mind the cloud may take up to 4 hours to propagate. dylan_price
I just updated the cloud settings. All other settings are configured exactly the same. I have noticed that for destiny the "autoping" hosts should be off. This is always checked when I log into the router. Do I need to log in before i play, and untick this? frustrated
I leave peer ping ticked that's all I have ticked and set at 20ms .
ColonicBoom
I never use auto-ping myself but plenty of people do. I sometimes use 'peer-ping' like Frustrate said but it's just an informative tool really. If you enable cookies (misc settings) and then reboot the Netduma, it should stop reselecting 'auto-ping'. Urge
Hi, I'm leaving in a min so only browsed this quickly - Yes, speed wise is probably congestion control. It can help with lag due to internet congestion at your home but will also limit your speeds. I don't know if this will help with the beaver code or not... but i do remember in Destiny while using the geo filter it needs to be run with Strict Off. Most games you would put strict on but destiny is opposite. You may already be doing this, but if not it's worth a try. Good luck.

Please let me know how you get on with those cloud numbers and if it resolves your issue. Wasn't sure if I had your most up-to-date cloud settings for Destiny there Fraser, I went with the latest post I could find. Is there somewhere I can check on a list of your cloud updates so I know? PM me if required.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 23, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 23, 2016 I normally post them in the Destiny thread that has given me the last ID's. If I don't post them look out for the latest number and change to those.
