Start a game on open, finish on strict

Hi everyone, i've got a problem with the duma. Everytime i start a game, im on an open nat type, when i try and join someone, i get kicked back to the menu and placed on strict.

 

Im wired to the duma which is connected to a VM superhub 3. I've portforwarded on the duma and dmz'd on the router. I have nat type 2 on the ps4.

 

Any help / solutions to this, as its really annoying me, i cant connect to anybody.

Is your Superhub in modem mode?

 

Have you got UPnP and UPnP Forwarding (misc settings) turned off?

The superhub is not in modem mode, but my playstation is on an open nat type. UPnP and forwarding are both enabled.

This happens to me and it's only on PS4/Infinite Warfare combo, nothing else.  It's gotta be the game lol

Wouldnt recommend using upnp. Causes too many issues. Why spend your hard earned money on a gaming router to use simple features.

Take 5 minutes to port forward and alleviate your issues. The advanced features are there for a reason.

Got told from a previous issue relating to the netduma. I will disable UPnP and attempt to manually select the ports, will update with the results.

This hasn't worked for me, any other ideas? (playstation is nat type 2)

When you're in a game disable the Geo-filter, do you still get kicked out then?

Geo filter disable, UPNP disabled, DMZ on superhub enabled. Port forwarded the relevent ports on the duma for IW.

Do you still get kicked with the Geo-filter off? NAT Type 2 is open so don't worry about that.

Tried all the options, still on a strict nat type;

 

DMZ on superhub/duma, UPNP disabled on both duma and hub.

Port forward on duma the relevent ports.

Geofilter disabled.

This doesn't make any sense. Can you connect directly to your super hub please and see if you have the same issue

Open on the SuperH3, assuming it must be a duma issue?

I used to have this same NAT issue almost daily with MW3 on Xbox360. I had the black Superhub (2 or 3) before the white one.

It used to change in the middle of a gaming session - I knew because I'd always check my NAT in-game and in Xbox settings when I booted up but often my clan couldn't party up later on and I'd see that I'd gone moderate.

 

It was nothing to do with the Netduma though, I didn't own one, I was using an Asus router with my Superhub.

 

Someone else in here must be using the Superhub and playing IW on PS4 though...

Post in the 1 on 1 section please, I don't see how it would be a Duma issue if you've set up as described. I want to find out the problem.
