Can NETDUMA help me with this mess?

Are the hit box boundaries something like th pic below?

or the game is so advanced that it uses the player's silhouette as a hit box boundary?

 

I don't know how it works out what's a hit or not but I've noticed several times that shots just below an enemy's nuts don't trigger hit markers.

Maybe they've given us what we've been asking for since BO3, because that just gave you kills even if your aim was way off. And IW doesn't much.

To me it looked like you were shooting just under the arm and to the side of the chest which would indicate to me that the hit box is pretty accurate to the player model. Unless I'm not seeing it clearly?

 

 

Yeah I think you slightly missed,good job it wasn't the synaptic rig otherwise you'll have never landed a bullet lol,must be really small hit boxes I've noticed it's sometimes very hard to hit people and you felt you are bang on

 

 

I think so too. And I've definitely noticed that with Synaptic.

 

This is what a lot of people (me!) are struggling with in this game, you have to be really accurate compared to something like BO3.

BO3 really 'gifted' us kills and in IW it doesn't, the hit detection in IW is generally very good*.

 

*Except when I get killed, then it's bad hit detection obviously.

 

Because, you know, Michael Flatley, etc...
