Slipknot31286sic6 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Why making multiple posts on same subject?
A7Legit Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 how its look now HOP's 6 & 7 aren't good, too much packet loss.
ColonicBoom Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I think packet loss on the final hop is what really counts, and the 100% would probably just be a router not responding to pings rather than anything serious. As Legit said, not sure about 6 and 7 though as they're partial and showing significant loss. But it doesn't look great. You're not running this test on wifi are you? And make sure all other devices (phones, laptops, etc) are disabled/disconnected.
bagsta69 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I wouldnt worry to much about 6 and 7 I have a couple of hops that do the samw but at final destination all is fine. 40+ ms isnt great and there are a few spikes there. Have you tried new Ethernet cables? Is your ISP cable ADSL do you have filters in line?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 23, 2016 Administrators Posted November 23, 2016 I'll close your other thread as you've made another one. Seems like you have good advice so far
