Kanjidragon
Hi ! I m using netduma since 1 month only to play destiny Osiris judgement. And now i'm ban from the P2P with no reason, "bungie say it like that you're temporary ban for 2 weeks". I m a good player and i ve never cheat or insult people... The only thing who have change is the installation of netduma. For osiris i use strict mode , geo-filter and ping assit set de 30 ms. (yes sometimes i m kicked...But however...) I live in France near Paris and have 17 mb/s dl and 1.5 mb/s up The netduma work really fine and i play with player who have good internet connexion. Anyone got the same problem before ? Regards. bagsta69
Taken from Bungie. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929 Also taken from the bungie forum. OK... Just FYI for the benefit of the community (I'm not saying Speedy is guilty of any of this).NOT being a Bungie employee, I can't speak for them; however, being a long time player and active member of Bungie.net, I can share some sage advice gleaned from the old and new forums:Some other things that Bungie (and Activision, Microsoft, and Sony) frown upon are infringing on others fun or playing experience.Harassing or berating other players with inappropriate language of any kind either via Messaging or Fireteam Voice Comms is NOT likely to earn you any extra glimmer or Legendary engrams... it's more likely to get you voice restricted, matchmaking restricted, or possibly banned.Griefing other players through actions or words can result in either a restriction or a ban... If enough people report you for bad behavior it won't be good.An example of griefing specifically cited was 'sitting or dancing in the "loot cave" to prevent spawning'.Also, back in the Halo days, people who frequently Rage Quit or lagged out of matches due to bad connections have been punished with restrictions (and in extreme cases... banned).Frequently going AFK (or actually... Away From Controller) while your team took an A$$whooping was bad mojo... going back to affecting the fun/experience of others. There was/is a difference between a restriction and the BANHAMMER... restrictions are temporary... and we all know about the BANHAMMER. ltr7
You can not filter Trials, It's a ranked competitive play list. You are to play with who the game dictates even if they live halfway across the planet.
XSXS
You can not filter Trials, It's a ranked competitive play list. You are to play with who the game dictates even if they live halfway across the planet. Actually that is incorrect, Bungie stated in their weekly report this week, ToS is different "Note: Skill is not a factor in Trials of Osiris. You are matched against players with good connections and similar score cards." https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/45459/7_This-Week-at-Bungie--11172016
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2016 Someone else mentioned this yesterday but as I said then I don't believe this is anything to do with the R1. It seems like Bungie are undergoing quite the ban wave but if this was due to the duma itself there would be a lot of people experiencing the same thing. unixadmin
Is there a chance that "Strict Mode" negatively impacts the experience of another player? Let's say disconnects them after you were matchmade? Documentation is clear that Strict should not be used with Destiny, in that case it's user error. You can also get suspended and/or banned in Destiny by association. He could've played knowingly or unknowingly with (what bungie considers)a cheater to deserve this. antithesis
Jails are chock full of innocent men... I've used the R1 in Destiny for two years and have never had a problem.

No I don't think that would be the case, they just wouldn't be allowed to join. Strict mode is more to prevent Destiny users being booted.
