Nope. Battlenonsense is a very famous Youtuber. He's making netcode analyzis videos with his own

devices and software setup for all kind of new games. He doesn't need to copy another Youtuber.

And indeed, he does a great job. OvenBakedMuffin is great too, but he doesn't find the time to make new

lag comp videos due to his personal life and having a fulltime job.

I think the most important info we gather from IW findings is that:

 

We send the dedicated servers an update (pckt) every 10ms, however the dedicated server sends us an update every 50ms...

 

Other Call of Duty titles such as BO3 for example, had us send the dedi an update every 20ms, and the dedi would send us an update every 50ms, having IW require updates from us more often yet send us updates every 50ms is a step back from the COD norm.

 

As for MW:R, well that's worse!

We send dedi an update every 33ms, but get an update from the dedi every 100ms!

 

F**king idiots these guys.

 

As gamers, we'd want the dedi to send us and receive an update in an equal amount of time, say every 16.67ms, but these developers are still sleeping.

Iw plays exceptional for me, having a ton of fun  :)

 

A higher tick rate to the server is in no way a negative, it would be great though if they upped the receive rate like BF1 and Overwatch.

 

Now maybe people will understand its all about ping and nothing to do with the width it travels in when Chris say's it.

So another big question is are you benefit with udp 3076 open? Should we manually forward this? Does it help with this joke of a lag comp?

 

I thanked Chris of BattleNonSense on Twitter only minutes ago for sharing the update rates of IW and MW:R which made the difference for me in the IW puzzle, I'll try out MW:R on the weekend.

Tried this settings and it seems to work for me, two games and 0 insta deaths

You're also using the bufferbloat move as well right? Lowering the bandwidth, as mentioned by good man Sim?

 

I noticed, that those settings I tried you mentioned above are amazing man. I can't get my 3kd going but i'm well over 1.5 staying afloat. 

 

But also reason i mention the Sim's settings is because I tried those settings disabling the d.priority and going with the 2.5-3 / .5 - 1.5 and notice after a couple games that rubberbanding would begin happening. Sometimes I just have to reset d.priority and just play that way and still going extremely positive lol. 

 

P.S. OSA(ARX-160) Gun wasn't a favorite of mines back in Ghost days. Just seem, blah back then. But in this game. Both the M1 Grand and This ARX SHREDS!!!! I love these guns more than these new guns in this game. TWO SHOTS M1 WRECKS!!! Rushing with the M1 is so fun!! That QUickDraw SNAP ON IS RIDICULOUS with the M1 and The ARX. I usually ran the ARX without the Quickdraw because well i can play with the gun with no attachments but my goodness, Quickdraw and Suppressor is just being a try hard with I throw those on, it's not even fair to the opposition lol 

 

P.S.S: Anyone else run solo & take down those UAV's? Engineer is always in my setup now, to keep my mates in the game from those UAV/CUAV lol

As far as BB & Congestion Control I'm sticking with my usual 97% sliders. One thing to note is my ISP and generally Australia (where I live) have some funky download and upload speed/ratios.

 

So my download is 115Mbps but my upload is 2.50Mbps lol. Until I get fiber or VDSL2 I'll have poor upload speeds...

 

Sim is awesome & helpful for many people, so glad he's around plus I love the way he starts his videos, but I'm not tackling BB in the same manner.

 

I'm genuinely happy the settings shared are helping, in COD we want consistency, once achieved it becomes more about return on investment by way of fun and less rage at what didn't make sense on our screens.

Well... Well.. What do we have here?
Finally proof that the original performs way better than all the current Call of Duty games.
Talk about the COD engline getting extremely bloated along with the poor netcode and low update rates for MWR.
Could have been done intentionally to deceive people into thinking that MWR doesn't perform well and that IW performs way better for all I know.
The engine needs a serious revamp. 58 ms increase from the original is just too much.

Data shows the 1st original MW to be with stock fps and update rate config.
2nd original MW shows the result of increased fps for the game.
The 3rd original MW data shows what happens when u increase the update rate to and from the server.
In the end, he mentions still having experienced, rubber-banding and all. This could be caused due to fewer players playing and they are far from each other and the server. Also, it could be caused before of just a poor netcode (lag compensation algorithm)
