evo95
Tried downloading a patch for bops3 last night on lan it has been really slow said 45 mins so I changed it to wifi and it only took 6 mins why is this? Is there something wrong with the ports or could it be the cables?

BIG__DOG
no, the ports are fine, the ps4 does not provide good networking info such as up n down speeds and estimates.......i have had patches downloading and it says 1,2,or3 hours when in fact it does it in about 10 mins.........wifi is good for phones and tablets but that is about all i find it fit for.......and you never wanna game over it that is for sure! Sometimes just stopping and starting the download again will make it jump from hours to minutes
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted October 18, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted October 18, 2016 The above comments are right; it's not an accurate representation of how long it will take. You definitely want to be wired when you're gaming; not just for how stable the connection will be comparatively, but for ping and general connection as well. You'll have a much better experience.
