iAmMoDBoX
Yeah I've burnt through sb6141, sb6183 and got the tplink 7620 bc the forums seemed to say it worked well with netduma..... SIGH The only modem that I know for sure worked for me was the Arris TM822G but I needed to use that one as I have Comcast phone and it's one of the only consumer retail modems with phone. If you wanna give that a try, I don't know who your ISP is but it should work as just a modem too. It's only a 8x4 modem so 300 Mbps is pushing it's limits, but I got that speed without a problem when I was using it.
TrayDay
Yeah I've burnt through sb6141, sb6183 and got the tplink 7620 bc the forums seemed to say it worked well with netduma..... SIGH I would like to add i did encounter the problem again. I even installed a amplifier to mitigate the power from the modem to the ISP. Still didn't work. I've used the cable/router Time Warner/Spectrum given me for free about 2 weeks ago. Couldn't deal with the massive ping and errors i was getting. It is the technicolor TC8715D. So i just went back to the tplink 7620 and just reset it when the problem happens about other hour. It is annoying but i have the best games right after i reset the modem. Just something I have to deal with until maybe the firmware is release for my tplink from isp for EEE fix. Otherwise just have to deal with it. I've called them multiple times and they always will give you the "test is good, modem is getting signal" line. So yeah, sadly, just have to tough it out. Hopefully the DumaOS is might have a firm for it in the next firmware update for Netduma. But Wouldn't hold your breathe as this is a very rare problem and again, just might just be because of our ISP/Modems. As it seems like all of them on my ISp have the EE E on approved modems. -_-"
spenn
Thanks King. I just dialed my speeds to 100/20 on netduma setting and have set DL to 20 and UP to 70. When running DSLreports that seems to be the only way to slow down the horrible buffering. The whole process is a joke. Netduma/TWC/TPlink 7620.....such a pain. Goodluck to us both

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 15, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 15, 2016 Everyone is too worried about DSLReports trying to get that perfect A grade. It isn't necessary. 70/70 should be absolutely fine in most cases. I am happy to do a 1 on 1 with you if needed, just post in the section.
