Just wanna give a big up(New York talk) to all those who have helped with support for this router:

- @Fraser, thanks for the 1on 1 session.... even though it was fast and I know you are busy.

- @frustrated , thanks also for attempting to help me out as best as you could and also identifying with my issues.

A big thank you to  @abc123 for taking time out and being patient, understanding , funny  and really explaining the best way he could about the problems that I was having. People, this man is very skilled and experienced and know what he is talking about.  I highly advise anybody that needs help to see him if you cant get Fraser  or one of the other tech guys. He is very personable and easy going when helping you. He actually took over (remote access) my imac and showed me exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. Trust me , i have or had very little experience any of this but now having had abc helped me i feel more confident with the router.

I was ready to throw the towel in on this router due to me  being so complicated and frustrated but felt i would give it 1 more shot. He actually save the company from a possible return as well netduma possibly gaining  4 more customers when i tell my friends about this. I do have my reserves still cause i am not sure of how effective it is working with Destiny and the legend on geo filter  is a little complicated for me. Verdict is still out on if i wanna return it until i see some more evidence on its effectiveness(at least in Destiny)

Thanks for the extremely kind words, they warm my heart.  I have been testing on Destiny with PvP (solo queuing only) and thus far the geofilter is working as expected for me.

The legend isn't really as bad as you'd think, you only car about 3 things on the geofilter map.

Red things - this is where your xbox is so

  * Red Circle - someone you are receiving and sending data to/from, likely in your game

  * Red Square - Someone you have recently stopped receiving or sending data to/from

  * Red Circle with Circles instead of dots - This is an allowed host due to ping-assist

  * Any of the above with a dotted outline - Someone you have used the update on to rate (normally friends) [these might appear outside the geofilter circle]

Yellow Things - Gaming Servers [i might have this backwards with white]

White things - Xbox Live Servers [i might have this backwards with yellow]

Caution Symbol - Someone outside the geofilter circle who is being blocked

Padlock - I think this is a temp banned gaming server

glad it is all sorted for you, i can understand your frustration as if you are not used to networking it can seem dauntings. The netduma does what it claims and works flawlessly for me on cod and it also makes my gaming sessions run like a well tuned engine when other people are using my home network. Any further questions post in the forum and we are more than happy to help, just don't get worked up over it.

happy gaming :)
