Mustard Tiger
I was playing Halo 5 last night everything was great , then suddenly no connection . I did a reboot twice and it was a no go. Plugged in another router and it worked fine. My netduma is about a year old now so do I have to buy another one already ?
PharmDawgg
Do you connect wireless or wired? Are you able to access the Netduma web interface?
Dillinger
Need a little more info to go on brother. No connection? Or the device has no power, no lights and has become a plastic rock?
Mustard Tiger
My connection is wired. On the netduma interface there is no internet connection. The lights are on but no one's home. So the power is on. I connected my Netgear Nighthawk and it works fine. So I'm thinking maybe the WAN connection on the router is burned out? PharmDawgg
I'm assuming you are saying you can not access the router's interface. Try this link for assistance. http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000022395-why-can-t-i-access-the-r1-interface-
Mustard Tiger
I get to the netduma homepage just fine there's simply no internet. For whatever reason it's not connecting to the internet at all.
PharmDawgg
If you can gain access to the interface then go to Device Manager, do you see the WAN IP? You should have Internet access if you see this. Which you probably won't. If you can't see this go to Settings > WAN and make sure static is disabled. Then turn off the R1 and turn off your ISP hub. Wait 10 seconds then turn on your ISP hub. Wait 30 seconds then turn on the R1. You should now have Internet access.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 31, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 31, 2016 Do a factory reset from miscellaneous settings and see if you get internet after that. Save your settings through a profile then export them if you want to keep them.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 1, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 1, 2016 Power off both your hub and your NETDUMA. Power up the hub and after one minute, power up the NETDUMA. Make sure they're connected from port 1 to port 1.
Mustard Tiger
I did all that and it's still not working. Do I need to send it back to you or do I have to buy a new one?
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted August 1, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted August 1, 2016 I shouldn't think it's a hardware failure since you can still access the interface. You should try out some different ethernet cables; and also try out this guide: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000022375-i-unticked-preserve-settings-when-upgrading-can-t-access-my-router-help Let us know if those work
