dpk_ydv
Hello guys, I've been a NetDuma user for around 2 years. I've changed my ISP, and it operates on multiple networks. So its required by them to input the PPPoE service name so that I can log into the network I've been allotted. I now have to use my linksys router to log in, then connect the NetDuma router to the linksys router, and then Netduma subsequently for connecting to other devices. Could the PPPoE service name option be added in future firmware update?
bagsta69
Go to settings then wan, you can input ppp0e settings there
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted July 19, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 19, 2016 What Bagsta said is correct; you can input the PPPOE username and password there, though I get the feeling that's not what you meant?
dpk_ydv
exactly, in most routers there is an option for the service name besides the username and password, although it's marked optional. in my case it's absolutely necessary
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 20, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 20, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! I've added this to the list of things people want to be included in the next upgrade. Fantastic to hear you have found a workaround though.
