archimedes
COD AW Nat type is moderate after connecting Netduma. suggestions? Also without any changes finding a game and this happens. Game was fine but I understand the large circle to be the host whic is outside of the geo-filter. how does that happen?
Guest Netduma Fraser
Everything you need to know to sort out the NAT can be found here - http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=how_do_i_open_my_nat In regards to the Geo-filter, it appears you may have it off. The button under your console should say 'disable' if its enabled and will say 'enable' if its disabled. Check that and make sure its on and then also tick strict mode on the Geo-filter
Dillinger
Hi Archimedes - Welcome to the forum. There are a ridiculous number of very knowledgeable people here who will be along shortly to help, as I am not really one of them I'm afraid. A couple of things I noticed. It appears you have the Geo Filter set in the Illinois/Indiana part of the US. Are you a US based user? All the Duma staff seem to be from across the pond, so this can help with troubleshooting at times because our service providers differ. I noticed that you DON'T have "Strict Mode" enabled, which would the first thing I would suggest once we know if that server is in the wrong place or not. Can you scroll down to the bottom of the page and update what version of the software you are running? This will help with troubleshooting as well. I'm replying more to bump this up and get you some real knowledge in here, but I hope this helps at least a little bit. archimedes
Nat is type 2 ( moderate). Version is 1.03.3 Geo filter is enabled but not strict Central US location Many thanks
cranium2001
I would also shrink down to about 750-1000 miles. If you're in the USA and want to be in miles, tick kilometers and it will switch to miles. The strict mode will help also.

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted April 21, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted April 21, 2015 Running about 1000 miles. What do you guys consider good for ping to game host? Last two for me between 60-80ms For me I would consider good to be less than 50ms. But is all depends on what your base ping is to what you best games are going to be. They can't be less than your base ping. To be honest 60-80 isn't too bad.

Zennon
Yeah put strict mode on thats why your connecting out side of your geo and ping filter I set my ping assist to 0 so i stay within my set filter also, thats just personal preference.
Guest Netduma_Iain
Is it working for you now arch?
archimedes
Seems to be working well. haven't quite figured out the rating of hosts yet and have not marked friends for allow yet. I'd like to get a feel for differences as I adjust the geo range to find the best experience. Really enjoying the visibility during game play and with some more familiarity I think I will really appreciate the software. I appreciate the insights.
