Crashoverride
Now I don't want to be that pain in the butt customer. But I'm not sure how to go about getting a replacement Netduma gaming router. Mine sends out a wireless sigal but won't / can't connect. Wired from my IP hub to my Netduma won't connect to or read any Internet access. I've had a 1 on 1 and did everything that was suggested or I was told to do. The factory reset button in the back won't work. I really like this product and I've been grateful for the help people have offered but I'm at a loss. It's been roughly a month or so of it not working and I've only had it 6 months. Or am I expected to purchase a whole new one?? I just need someone to tell me how this works since I bought it from the website and I live in the United States. Thank you

Thank you I read your previous posts and it sounds to me like you just have things connected wrong. Can you take a picture or video of how your have your devices setup? Crashoverride
It wasn't set up wrong. It worked just fine for about 6 months until the new upgrade. At first my load bars would just pulse when I would try my congestion control etc. It just wouldn't load. I was on 1.03.3 but I couldn't upgrade because there was some kind of error. I was told they couldn't connect to it. So they asked me to put my ISP in modem mode which I did then that's when I had NO access to the Netduma's menu at all. I may be stupid but I know how to wire a router. No offence.
Zennon
After a factory reset the WifI password is now netdumar1 Also http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=can_t_connect_to_the_internet_or_access_the_dashboard http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=unbrick_router
Crashoverride
Tried both of those. Trying to connect under the wifi when I enter the "netdumar1" password it says it's the wrong password. It remembers the one I put in but when I enter it to connect it just searches for the IP address but can't connect to anything. Just scans over and over and over. Unbricking. When I enter the IP address (with my ISP router cause the Duma won't go online) it tells me site unavailable or something like that. Plus I have NO access at all to the Netd uma's menu. None what so ever. I've probably tried everything and still.. I get nothing. Internet goes from my ISP's router/modem to the Duma but NOTHING comes out. Ya it will show the Netduma's wireless but it CAN NOT be connected to. Running the ethernet bridge from my ISP's router to the Duma. Same thing. NOTHING comes out. Game systems, my computer all says. "CONNECT TO THE INTERNET" Oh and the Netduma's reset in the back. If it would work I should be able to get the the dumas menu or something. But I get... nothing. Not a dam thing. It's annoying as hell.
Zennon
Turn off your ISP router and Netduma Connect a new Ethernet cable from your ISP router to port one of the Netduma. Turn on your ISP router only, wait 2 minutes then turn on the Netduma.
Crashoverride
I've been doing all I can since Tuesday. Nothing works. So finally just tonight I have givin up. I unhooked everything and put it back in the box. I can get internet through both of my ISP routers I have. But not the Netduma. There is NOTHING else that I can do. Nothing without being able to get into the Netduma's menu.
Crashoverride
Zennon tried that too. New cords. Resets on everything. Matter a fact I just tried that about an hour ago. Now I don't mean any disrespect to anyone. Every idea you all can think of is appreciated. I'm just frustrated and I know it won't work. I think that's why I'm so frustrated. So I do apologize to anyone I may have offended in my frustration.
Zennon
If you connect your device directly to the Netduma with an Ethernet cable (ISP router not inline) can you get to the dash at 192.168.88.1 or http://R1 ?
Crashoverride
No. It can't find the 192.168.88.1 or 192.168.1.1 I'm unsure on the http://R1that's the first I've heard of that one.
Zennon
It is not if you have read everything carefully that I have linked to step by step.
Crashoverride
I have tried that R1 before. I think the gentleman that was linked to my computer when we did my 1 on 1 tried that also. I may not be a computer savvy person but I am not an idiot.

Crashoverride
I tried that static ip stuff. Didn't work. I alsonly tried the unbrick thing. But I can't seem to get to the netduma menu to do anything. It just says site unavailable or something like that.
Crashoverride
Don't blame you for bowing out. I really do appreciate your input I really do but nothing is working. I just wish someone would believe me. I really hate being a pain in the butt but I did spend a decent amount on this and I'd just like it to work. Worked fine until I needed that upgrade. I just can't figure out why it's not now.
secretface
Not that I read this whole thread but I do remember, I have it written down I didn't actually remember, that with my comcast isp I had to use the comcast router modem to find my wan ip and then turn router function off and use just isp modem and manually enter that wan ip into the netduma. Then it worked. I could then put the duma back into auto for wan and it would work. It would not work just plugging in and having wan ip in auto or I should say in static enabled and then disabled. I hope this helps.
Crashoverride
Thank you. Ya it might if I could access the Netduma's menu. See I have to have the Netduma's ip address to get to that part and for some reason I can't. I just have nothing connecting the 2 together. The netduma and my computer. secretface
Oh well I know I had to hold that reset button on the duma in for like 30 seconds once but you take a chance of it not working
Crashoverride
Ya I've done that too. Held for 10. Got nothing. Held for 30. Got nothing. I can't be 100% sure about it not reseting since I have no access to the Netduma's menu but my wifi password is staking the same. I can find the wifi from the Duma but I can't connect to it. Just says. Authenticating but it only says that when I put in the wifi password I set up in the beginning. All others I enter netdumar1 and the numbers and letters from the side of the box all say incorrect password.
iAmMoDBoX
Turn your pc completely off. Power on the netduma and press the reset button on the back unless the light starts blinking letting you know it reset Plug your computer directly into the netduma port 5, don't plug the netduma or your pc into anything else. See if you can access the netduma by going to 192.168.88.1 If not, go into your network settings on your computer and make sure that it is set to get an IP address automatically. Each version of windows is different so I can't say exactly how to do this. But most ways is to go into network settings, properties for the adapter, and then go to IPv4. It should look like this..
