DumaRocks
Don't know what is causing it but all of sudden the Netduma is hooking me up to far away servers. I blocked one already. I guess I have to pay close attention to what it is doing. Kind of annoyed that it is trying to connect me with NC servers when IA is available and the NC servers for my location are garbage. PharmDawgg
Next time it happens can you post a screenshot. Might want to go to settings>miscellaneous and click apply cloud settings to flush the cloud settings. I assume you are playing cod and strict mode is enables. After flushing the cloud reboot router. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted July 2, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 2, 2016 Hey As Buck said, a screen shot would be helpful. Also try following this guide.
Urge
There should only be 3 possible reasons to be connecting from far away servers. 1. The geo filter isn't actually enabled - make sure that button is ticked. I've made that mistake before also. 2. Strict mode should be ticked on. 3. If you have ping Assist on, even with the geo on and strict on you could find a server outside of the set geo radius if the server meets the value you set for the ping assist. After making any changes remember to wait two minutes before your next search so the anti cheat has time to reset or you could wind up in the previous servers. DumaRocks
I fixed it by placing a Temp Ban on that NC server or might have even been a p2p I suppose. It's working now. As soon as I set the ban, the next lobby hooked me up to Iowa server. I think I misstated something in my original post. I realize it is not Netduma connecting me but COD matchmaking algo, I was lashing out a little since I was annoyed but didn't mean to place the blame on the router that actually allowed me to fix it.
