Internet Diagnosis Results

Recommended Posts

Please post your internet diagnosis here for reference sake.

If possible also include the ping you get in games you play and on which console.

Here is mine. I get around 100-110 ping to blackops 3 servers. My distance to the closest server is 4650 Kilometers.

Mine is worse than I thought.

Xbox One, London UK.

I connect to the Irish dedi bank which is about 275 miles away.

Netduma shows (unstable) ping of about 25-60ms.

BO3 in-game ping graph shows 33-40ms but it bounces up and down non-stop, up 150ms every 10 seconds or so and frequently up to 250ms+, even 400ms several times per game.

My internet is wearing pointy shoes and kicking my arse with them.

Please remember the Google servers seem to be having issues at the moment. So if you are seeing abnormal results it is most likely due to that.

Good point, a lot of people have been seeing unusual behaviour on 8.8.8.8

Unfortunely mine aren't abnormal for my connection at the moment, tomorrow though - that's a differnet isp story.

Hopefully when the new update comes out they will allow us to ping different servers other than google. I put it in the suggestions thread a while ago when I was having issues. :)

This is a good point - thanks .

Sometimes you can't determine network issues at time of encounter some. It's rare to find things that are static in network that have no flukes.

Sometimes even the things you consider permanently stable or fix could be the hindrance. This time its the google servers.
