AlsaibaiH
My download speed is capped on the ps4 while connecting to the netduma only. Its stuck at 6-8MB . PS4 is set on hyper lane and congestion control is set to reactive. PS4 has all the allocated bandwith . My speed is 100 DOWN 10 UP. What to do ? _______________ SOLUTION: Q. Why was it occurring ? A. I was using google public dns . I changed the netduma dns to my ISP modem and my ps4 dns to my netduma. Essentially using the dns my ISP provides. I don't know the proper explanation around why google dns was giving me terrible download speed but when i switched it fixed it.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted June 1, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 1, 2016 Is this during a PS4 speed test or when trying to download something?

ColonicBoom
As a side note, with 100/10 bandwidth and the PS4 in hyperlane, you probably don't need to allocate the bandwidth to the PS4 - if you reset equally and have 'shared' checked you should easily have enough bandwidth for optimum gaming and full speed downloads. That is indeed true. Considering my location which is far from most game servers it doesn't even matter what bandwith I have. I understand that I could distribute just normally, but I rather have no lag on ps4 at all times.
