nytemare01 Posted April 29, 2016 Share Posted April 29, 2016 After finding out which dns servers were the fastest I tried to setup the Duma with a static ip but when I did I lost my internet connection. What's the best way to set it up? After my failed attempt I just set up dns in the lan as opposed to the wan section. Does that send all lan devices to the dns I specified? Knomax Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Your ISP provides you with static IP or dynamic?If your ISP gives you static IP always..then you can set up it with this IP if not you can't because when you reboot your modem or Netduma it takes different random IP from ISP not the same...that's why you lost your connection.
