ColonicBoom
lol, tin-foil hat. I just want an updated CoD4 Modern Warfare + MW2 bundle, they could do a 'nostalgia' bonus edition where it comes with a tissue to dry my tears of happiness.

Killerelite06
I dislike this whole supply drop system in general Its super expensive for me to buy cod points to have the small chance of getting the new weapons ($1 = R14.57 because of our bad economy) I feel each player should have access to the same weapons and attachment at all times giving each player the same value for their money , they can however add emblems , camos ,melee weapon skins and calling cards into these supply drops due to these not affecting the performance of a player (maybe ego a little when you flash dark matter or that rare camo). I already payed a lot of money for the game and season pass I do not want to buy supply drops to get my hands on the latest and greatest guns (better damage , less recoil , faster fire rate which all play a big role in COD) . Each time CSGO brings out a new gun they make it available to the whole community meaning each and every players got the opportunity to wreak havoc on other players and skins are purely cosmetic (it does not improve your recoil , fire rate , damage) and the game does not force you in the general direction of if you want to compete with the rest you have to buy supply drops . Which brings me to a closing point I simply want COD to return to the golden days , running and gunning(no jetpacks) , drop shots and every dlc weapon , camo available to each player. No dress up emoticons that cost a arm and leg (If I want to play dress up I have The Sims to look like a walking rainbow)
PharmDawgg
It is what it is these days. The dawn of microtransactions. I don't care for all these microtransactions but really do not have an issue with the offerings if others want to purchase them. But I do have a problem with how it is being implemented. If I spend my money I want to get what I want not a CHANCE to get what I want. This whole supply drop system that Activision/Treyarch has implemented reminds me of the shell game. The word dishonest just keeps coming to mind the more I think about the whole situation. How do we know the system is random? How do we know they haven't set a certain amount of money for customers to spend in order to get a particular item? That is why I am done. This is a game that we originally spent approx. $60 on originally but I believe some have now spent over $500 or more. That in itself is a whole damn purchase price of a console. It just puts a bad taste in my mouth the more I think about it.
Urge
As for what Buck just said, he's right.. It is what it is. Honestly though, I'm not sure why everyone has such a severe dislike for them. Yeah, it does suck if you really want a 'special weapon' and can't get them but they are not that great. Most are just different skins and animations such as the melee weapons. I've got the wrench, MX Garand, and Marshall and haven't spent anything for em. I guess i could see the reasoning behind the gripes more if they actually made a difference in gameplay. Personally i will not spend anything on them and that's my choice as most of ya'll. But i'm not gonna knock the guy who gambles for it. Again i would feel much differently about it and probably be pissed myself if they were pay to win weapons; cosmetic skins and animations on them don't affect us at all. They are just different. But to be honest i did bitch on twitter for about a day about that stupid 'Dab' dance being put in and claimed to want to quit. But after thinking on it, aside from finding that dance extremely annoying it wouldn't impact my fun any.

Yeah, yeah, subjective opinion aside, Supply Drops are nothing but legalized gambling for under age kids and THAT is a horrible thing, no matter how you (people in general) spin it. Think back to the story about the young boy and his mother in the store. The kid wanted to basically WASTE his money on the chance to get some digital garbage that will be worthless in November, whereas his mother was offering to buy him a game with a 100% chance of getting an investment on her (his) return. This is what is wrong with the whole system because it targets impressionable kids who don't know any better who fund greedy schemes like this. It encourages Activision to keep putting this crap in instead of investing in new engine technologies, etc. and delivering a quality product overall. Not to mention people that might actually have the 'gambling gene', imagine the state they could get into with this. Like one of you said, if I'm going to pay then I want to get it rather than a chance to get it. On the other side of things, I'm very happy that you can't get more powerful variants of weapons like you could in Advanced Warfare - because that was really bad.
