CheapDanglyHam
I'd like to bring rid to the attention of the devs as it seems like a bug with the Netduma connecting to PSN. my setup is modem > RT-N66U > Netduma. Netduma in DMZ on RT-N66U, upnp off on both routers but port forwarding set on Netduma for PSN. MTU set to 1492 on both Netduma and RT-N66U. When doing the connection test on PS4 it can go 1 of 3 ways: - Test completes and passes all steps. - Test completes but informs me that router doesn't support ip fragmentation. - Test fails on nat type. The fact that it is so inconsistent could lead me to believe that whatever the issue is intermittent and a bug. I felt it was worth bringing up to the devs to look into. I know others have had a similar issue and it could be worth looking into.

A7Legit
Set Asus' MTU and leave Netduma's on Auto in both Settings > LAN & WAN Set PS4's to Auto also. Turn ON upnp on both routers as you don't need to manually port forward.
FatalDragon
I have just recently started experiencing this same problem it happens when the ps4 obtains everything automatically. Im a tech wiz and have put alot of time into finding out the solution. for now i have found manually inserting mtu on PS4 values fixes it. but the developers need to look into the ps4 ip fragmentation bug. automatic causes this issue. i will also recieve random failed nat types. I have done this test with every piece of equipment my modem alone, my asus router alone, and everything's fine this is a sole issue with my netduma. And judging by many other posts lately others are having the same problem. I love my router but this issue tends to be very consistent its not any of the users its something after this new update I am a happy netduma user for a year now and have studied all the small easily fixable problems with this router. I Hope as a community with the developers we can fix this.
CheapDanglyHam
Yeah, tried the all auto approach and it's still hit and miss. Error NW-31374-8 when nat fails, cannot connect to the server within time limit.
CheapDanglyHam
Just wanting to bump this topic as it's an issue I'd like to bring to the attention of the devs. Any chance of a looksy when you have some free time?
AlsaibaiH
Have MTU on auto and use Google DNS and report back... 8.8.8.8 Primary 8.8.4.4 Secondary
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 1, 2016 Administrators Share Posted March 1, 2016 Someone to resolve the issue chose MTU 1473 on the PS4 and the R1 itself.
CheapDanglyHam
Someone to resolve the issue chose MTU 1473 on the PS4 and the R1 itself. Does that have any adverse affect with online gaming if it were to work? I can't try it until tomorrow though now.
A7Legit
A 1473 MTU for me causes IP Fragmentation, so go figure... Everyone's connection is different.
fuzzy clam
As A7 said everyones home network is different.I can make it happen everytime I turn in my PS4 simply by running wireless, which I don't do but was curious as to what would happen and the IP fragmentation error was the result. But as others have said if the PS4 is set to everything on automatic i.e... the easy set up instead of custom
