He constantly has sight advantage in every engagement, rarely takes damage from shots, even from people right in front of him, shoots second and kills first, and the hit detection is flat out insane... And don't just say that he simply has a great internet service, as many here can attest that "great internet" in Black Ops 3 (and COD games in general) is not always a good thing, and certainly does not produce this kind of connection experience. There are plenty on this forum with 300+Mb low ping internet that get lag comped to hell. I shouldn't have to remind anyone in the know about the broken lag comp in MW3 that could easily be manipulated to give a person consistent advantage. There have been plenty of netcode breakdowns on it. I am actually a fan of the guy, he is absolutely a good player. But I've always suspected that there is more going on here, whether its some kind of added equipment or special configuration going on, he certainly has the secret formula..lol. And I'm speaking as a solo 4 kd/400+spm player with about 30 percent accuracy on most guns, so believe me I know the distinction between skill and a connection advantage. If I recall FPS Russia paid Thunder to be in a match under a different name once, but way before many people knew Thunder. This was 7 years ago though. But i would think its more than just low ping, as I would assume that would make him more the target/victim of lag compensation when the "netcode" attempts to even out and sync all connections. Many of us with good ISP packages manage good pings on the Duma, but not a connection like his..lol Interestingly, unlike most streamers, youtubers, etc, I've never seen MoJ do a network setup vid, speedtest while streaming, or even check his ping in game. He also just happens to be boss at this game. I've played against him in mw3 and he's got great anticipation/knowledge of the game and match that with ADD and it's over. But almost never such a consistent connection all game long or in a row. Mark of J is real, I like him 10 times better then Tmartn or Ali-A. I would like to have his connection any time all the time. That said, I've seen him play against pro players and get mopped up. It's how he plays and what kind of game he plays. Safeguard and he has :01 second of escort time? To me, that isn't a great team player. Is he a beast? Is he stopping the other team from advancing the robot? Is he your first line of offense and defense? Sure. He finished side one with 44 kills. Once the other team started hurling themselves at a known point to try and advance, it was shooting fish in a barrel and he racks up another 132 kills without streaks? He wasn't playing Optic guys. No matter the player, I look at these type of games with no more interest or respect then watching Sniperwolf avoid DOM flags like they are the law and she's on house arrest (again). There can be no impressive demonstration of skill absent of at least some competition. MoJ is talented, but noob bashing is noob bashing. It is what it is and can be entertaining in that light. And that is going back through Black Ops 2/Ghost transition where I first found out about the guy. I don't know enough to be able to say boo, one way or the other. Watching his gameplay I think he was benefitting a lot by his movement. He would get hit, but he would be gone before the guy could hit him with follow up shots. I don't know guys. Having super over powered internet helps when you are host. Having a decent value (average down and up) CLEAN line would be more beneficial, to me, knowing what I know now. I will say this about everyone that is a YT'er and doesn't do set up videos, there is a reason why. It's not that no one would view it, you can bet the house on that fact. And he has a new Game Account and leveling up again. Don't think he is a Cheater, but maybe Sony and the many opponents he destroyed think that. He plays on PS4 and it is not completly hacked, yet. There some prestige glitches out in the wild, but no Wallhack/Aimbot Stuff - in the moment. I mean when I play I'm super quiet and concentrated. He's randomly spewing words/thoughts during live commentaries lol. Super old set-up. Hes got both without question I also agree, also note they start "new" accounts when there stats get to good as to keep playing in noob lobbies. Don't get me wrong Mr J is a very good player, but the game itself is not that consistent for anyone I've ever known.
