Pete
Does anybody know what port 51843 is used for? I see in UPnP settings that this port is being opened for my xbox with UDP.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 17, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 17, 2016 Not sure what it is for specifically but if it is opening it for the Xbox then it probably needs it for some reason.
e38BimmerFN
Are you running any apps or specific games when you see this port?
slingblade5
Ive seen this port before as well. I remember googling it and finding nothing. I've seen this on my old router before the Netduma if that matters... On my console I just play black-ops 3, and use Netflix.
Pete
Are you running any apps or specific games when you see this port? the only things I have done was browse the xbox store and play black ops 3. xbox one? having a guess here that your port 3074 is in use or is being blocked and it opened a different port to have open nat? I have seen it where it was opening 3074, 3075, and 51843 all at the same time for the xbox one. Not sure what it is for specifically but if it is opening it for the Xbox then it probably needs it for some reason. I love you Fraser but I can't say I agree with you.
