peacamaker Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Just wondering if I can get some input router barely started acting up today I was originally getting 130d and 23u hard wired on my laptop turn it on today and now only getting 12-15d but same upload. I try factory resetting it and i change the settings that would go with my speed that my provider gives me but still having same results hard wired so I'm not sure what to do anymore.
PharmDawgg Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Ensure: 100% anti-flood Reactive algo Share excess on Reset device prio & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Do a wired speed test from a PC try multiple speedtest servers incase they're overloaded If still not full speed put turbo on and see if that pushes it to your expected speeds

peacamaker Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 I connected my old router back up and I'm getting all my speeds but not with the netduma wonder if it is possible to downgrade than upgrade again maybe a glitch in firmware?
belly120 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 .6 does seem buggy, mine went to pot with mtu issues and packet loss with no change in setup other than the update, i had to disable all my geo filters to stop it throwing out parties etc. very annoying, no harm in rolling back to .5 mate. frustrating lack of input but if .5 works use it
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 16, 2016 Administrators Posted February 16, 2016 Are all your devices connected to the R1? You can downgrade, factory reset and then upgrade again. Secret had success doing that

Secret had success doing that Ya all my devices are connected like usual so do I just upload the old firmware that I have saved to downgrade? Than just upload the new one again correct?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 17, 2016 Administrators Posted February 17, 2016 Ya all my devices are connected like usual so do I just upload the old firmware that I have saved to downgrade? Than just upload the new one again correct? Is the wifi on your ISP hub broadcasting? If so I would turn that off to ensure no one is connecting to it by accident and try again. You should definitely be getting the speeds you pay for with those settings. We can't advise that you downgrade as it can cause issues. You would uncheck version though.
secretface Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Ya all my devices are connected like usual so do I just upload the old firmware that I have saved to downgrade? Than just upload the new one again correct? Yea bud. Do the same thing as if .5 were new , click the upgrade and install the .5 file. I had a bunch of issues with .6 so I downgraded to .5 for a bit. I then redownloaded .6 I did a factory reset and upgraded to .6 and it seems to be working well.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 17, 2016 Administrators Posted February 17, 2016 Great, as this has been resolved I'll now close this thread. Please feel free to open another if you have any other questions/issues.
