Guest Netduma Fraser
I fear AW has rendered Netdumas geo filter useless with these dedicated servers, my gameplay hasn't been the same as when I first got my R1. I'm always getting thrown into the same dedicated servers and its always a hit or miss. I hope Netduma has an ace up their sleeve in their next firmware update... Hey Madman, if you don't want to connect to the same host try following these instructions please http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_am_i_getting_booted_from_the_lobby_game also bare in mind our anti cheat as well http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=gf_anti_cheat hopefully we can find a helpful solution for everyone
bagsta69
Last night I joined friends in the States, east coast friend was hosting so turned off my geo filter and it appeared we joined a dedi in or near New York, Others from West Virginia and west coast Canada. I went positive every game between 1.6 and 3 topping the boards on Domination which I hardly ever play, ping of between 80 and 120 ms mostly smooth gameplay, a few games started off a bit laggy but soon evened out. Dropping bombing runs and warbirds every game. I have never had a warbird EVER!!!! To say I was gob smacked is an understatement. I am a 1 KDR player at best. Now lets see if the dedi's in Europe give me the same result with my geo filter switched on.
Keith
Sunday I was getting terrible connections on AW PS4. Chicago Dedi, which is usually really good, was having huge ping spikes (from 25- up to 85). Was also having nat issues and couldn't party up with a friend(whitelisted) or party chat. Constantly getting booted mid game with a sony server error message. fuzzy clam
@ Keith i'm having issues with the same server, actually it's a whole block of servers not just one.But the one i usually play on hasn't been on since Thursday but i think it's in Gary,Indiana. That server bank use to play great for me and now i get pings starting at 80-100 and it's 80 miles from me.The ID's are different,so either that server is in the wrong location or something really strange is going on. But Iain said he'll look into it to see what going on.In case it's a wrong location as i'm really curious. And BTW i'm from West Michigan also,Kalamazoo to be exact

Yeah, very spotty over the weekend. I don't have the ability to see the ID's, think I will in 1.03. When I did have good quality connection (around St. Louis), I would get booted mid-game with a Sony side server message and "unable to retrieve friends list" message on Advanced Warfare. Moved here from Chicago a few years ago. Live in Caledonia- very nice, but I'm tired of this %$#&^$ snow and cold!
fuzzy clam
@ Keith what i've been doing to get better games is putting my home location about a quarter of the way down in Alabama. That way you pick up the dedi's in Florida,Georgia, and Louisiana. And they all play pretty decent. Also there is a dedi that is located at the bottom of Illinois, right on the Missouri border ( SW corner ) that should play pretty well for you given your location. So keep an eye out for it,it's pretty decent. The closest dedi gives me a good ping reading but like I said the results vary (bad hit detection / WTF moments)... Besides that, I love my netduma router works great on older CODs. Ahh okay, if you've ruled out local congestion then its likely to be the quality of the host and if the ping is low theres not much we can do about that. You can try doing an internet diagnosis test and see if theres any issues with your connection that could be causing it.
chrisbeatty316
I wish there was a way to block the dedi's. They seem to be worse connections than actual player host.

Turn Geo filter off and more often than not you'll still connected to those servers. However player hosted games are awesome with the netduma. AW is just highly inconsistent.
