Make sure the Ethernet cable is connected correctly.

Turn off both routers, turn on the ISP router wait for it to fully boot over a minute.

Boot the duma and wait for it to fully boot, check for WAN IP.

Who's your ISP? Under Setting> WAN: make sure WAN is disabled and Mac clone is enabled and reboot everything one more time like Zannon said.

I believe we have some members with plushnet that may have some suggestions on how to install as well.

Are you testing this wired?

Are both routers and the device you are using for internet set to an automatic IP?

If not please do so.

Go into your ISP routers GUI and find the static and automatic settings and set them to auto.

If you have not altered the Netduma's at all then you wont need to change anything from the duma side.

So you have a number after WAN IP in device manager? Have you got a device wired to the Netduma to try and connect to the internet? What is the specific error you get when trying to connect to the internet?

and yes i have a wan ip now but only when i have @btinternet typed into the ppoe section

That must have been because you're connected directly to the modem and it requires PPoE. Have you got internet sorted now?
