Hi UKash, welcome to the forum :)

You have two options on setting it up.

1) The way you're doing it now.

2) Leave Technicolor router in place and connect the Netduma to it.

Number 2 is probably simpler as all you then have to do is put the Netduma in its DMZ. If you would prefer number one, then I'm sure there is a fix for the problem you're currently having :)

OK thanx

But Witch way is better for PS4?

I have lots of devices in house on wifi.

It probably won't make a difference at all

I suppose number 1 would be the 'neater' way so we could try and get that working first and if it doesn't work, you just plug the old router back in and plug the Netduma into that.

It's up to you though - both ways should give you the same end result  :)

How to fix it nr1connection?

I should go to netduma setings and then to WAN settings?

Now that you have the Netduma plugged into the Openreach modem, can you go to Settings >> LAN and enable a Custom DNS. In the fist box type '8.8.8.8' and in the second box type '8.8.4.4'.

Ok, so it looks like you have everything wired up correctly.

On a  PC that is wired to the Netduma, can you open up a command prompt and type 'ping 8.8.8.8'. Can you then copy and paste the result of that here.

Also, on the Netduma dashboard, if you go to device manager, is there a number after 'WAN IP'?

Modem-router-netduma-system. That's how I roll. I prioritize port one on my current router for the netduma. I just use my original router for all the wifi and all works fine. Then go through the tour and set up accordingly. Should be set in my opinion.

And wired conections for another devices u use from orginal router same like wifi?

Need to be DMZ on orginal router for R1?

I have loots devices at home.

I need best connection for my ps4 without LAG.

Cheers!

I thing is gonna be easy to change router for R1 but is not...

So far you've only changed one setting on the Netduma :) But when you get back, if you post the information from above, then it might highlight the problem :)

Ok - the problem is no WAN IP.

I think the BT modems need PPoE (or at least mine does).

So can you go to Settings >> WAN and enable PPoE.

In the username type '@btinternet.com' and password just type 'bt'. The click apply. Then go back to the device manager page, is there a WAN IP?
