DanologyUK got a reaction from mytyurt in NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
That's not possible. R3 is a router, not a modem. You need some sort of ISP modem before your R3.

DanologyUK got a reaction from Devastate in Weird JSON page loading
I use Firefox as my daily browser. If i leave the website for idle too long, the page changes to the screen below.
Is this some kind of issue with the forum as the URL does change in my browser because if I refresh, this page stays loaded.

I've literally been getting the same thing, I've already passed it over to a colleague to have a look

DanologyUK reacted to Netduma Fraser in Black Ops 6 - Smartboost
Thanks for the reports, we'll be testing the game and will put out a cloud update where necessary. If it's not detecting properly prioritize your device specifically for the moment or use the Call of Duty Content option in the File Sharing folder and it should work.

That doesnt look like the page you want. You need to find a page that has DMZ on it.Â

In your ISP router, you will need to give the R3 a static IP. You might find this in DHCP page. Once you set this static IP, you then need to put that IP into the DMZ page and enable it.Â

DanologyUK got a reaction from N3CR0 in MTU
I'm sorry but that guy is waffling a lot of rubbish. You do realise that MTU = MAXIMUM Transmission Unit. By setting your MTU to the max MTU as offered by your ISP and as referenced on that link I posted, doesnt mean every packet you receive on your PC is going to be 1500 bytes as package size will differ from server to server and will normally be a lot less. If you try to exceed the MTU of your ISP, that is when you start getting packet loss due to fragmentation occuring
Here is another link about MTU to help you to understand it -Â https://homenetworkgeek.com/mtu-size/

MTU is to do with your ISP and nothing to do with the servers. This site will explain everything -Â https://homenetworkgeek.com/mtu-size/

DanologyUK got a reaction from lg2021 in Bye bye R3
Almost 5 months since released. That is too long to have "patience" on issues which should have been resolved before it was even released. They shouldnt need to be fixing so many issues after release!

Hi Fraser, if you can find out the MTU protocols from the Polish MW3 servers, I would be very grateful.

DanologyUK got a reaction from Derek2626 in Packet loss
Remember your ISP could be to blame for the packetloss as well.Â
Set up a free "Broadband Quality Meter" - https://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping once set up, let it run for a few hours (it runs a ping from their server to your router) and it'll plot out your connection in a heatmap. See mine below. If you were to have true packetloss caused by your ISP then you will see a red spike/spikes from the top of the graph.Â

DanologyUK got a reaction from Kage79 in This is getting absurd
You do realise this is the THIRD router they have released and look at how the release has gone so far for this? Doesn't look like theyve learnt any lessons from the past 2 releases.Â
You wouldnt go and build a house if you didnt know how to lay bricks, do the wiring, install the windows etc etc, so why are they releasing stuff like this if they dont know how to fix it?
Basically Netduma got too greedy and wanted to release before Christmas in a broken state and then fix forward which is a poor excuse. The router has been out for almost 5 months and look at all the issues still being experienced. The issues are basic functions of any router as well so nothing specialised.Â

You thought I took a picture with my phone and then moved the photo to the pc then uploaded it?!? I’m lost
