Burger100 reacted to Netduma Liam in NEW R2 FIRMWARE: 3.0.205
Hey all, hope you’re doing well.
Here’s the latest firmware update for the R2 – 3.0.205 (Sounds great, right?)
Nothing huge - but it welcomes several stability, security and general cosmetic improvements to your R2.
We recommend you make the upgrade and do a full factory reset afterwards, just to make sure you're starting from a clean slate!
You can go ahead and download it here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/49gt1wxva9rxame/DumaOS-R2-3.0.205.sig?dl=0
Those that have an R2 on pre-order, rest assured that it will come with this latest firmware pre-installed - if you have any issues or queries, just give us a shout!
For the techies amongst you, here's a more detailed change log:
System-wide GUI improvements to both cosmetics and Security Increased DHCP cache size to 10000, stopping DHCP from being filled by 1500 requests Improved Traffic Prioritisation for wireless devices Fixed occasional issue where IPv6 devices weren't assigned DHCP IPs DumaOS webserver fixes for improving operating smoothness of GUI Improved DPI detection services Improved Bandwidth Allocation backend

No not at all Just set up as normal but turn wifi and upnp off on the sky hub and let the r2 take care of the rest.

We are aware of this and on it, we should get an update out for this soon. We're just waiting on a dev to have a look as there was an issue in the process of updating it.

    Hey, welcome to the forum!
Basically CoD doesn't respond to pings anymore so we have to do something clever, they're also changing servers regularly which means we have to update frequently. We should push an update for it this week.

If you can perceive milliseconds difference then the military need to do some experiments on you haha.
So networkingwise you'll be the last person to know whether your action completed I would imagine - where your bullet hits would reach the server and then the enemy - them dying is fed back to the server and then back to you. At least in theory.

Thanks, we're working on a cloud update for this, we'll keep you posted.
They seem to be changing their servers every day so frequent cloud updates are required!

People say the same about every CoD and its never worked, at least not for me.
I can play on 30ms or 120ms servers and it all feels the same.
I also tried the artificial lag trick and that also made no difference.

    Hello DumaArmy,
This morning we had some problems with the forum, you may have seen it was inaccessible. We've now fixed the issue and everything is back to normal.
We'd like to apologise for the downtime, and I hope that none of you have had to wait longer for support because of this.
Thanks for being a great community,

    Hi everyone,
We know what you’re thinking, and we get it.
We said R2 updates would be frequent (and they will be), but this update ended up enveloping a lot more than we initially expected. That’s frustrating for you and for us too.
However, we hope you’ll find the wait was worth it – this is a huge update with fixes and changes across the board. Feedback on the R2 has been great, helping us to improve everyone’s experience while fixing specific problems too. The changelog below shows just much work has gone into this update.
This is the latest in DumaOS and it sets the stage for new features we’ll reveal in the near future. From all of us at Netduma, thanks for your patience, and for caring enough about DumaOS to stay vocal. We hope you enjoy the latest firmware!

I am asked every single day where a firmware is, I give my best estimate, there is a delay, people get frustrated. I took the comments on board from the last topic and so I am not going to provide an estimate unless I'm 99.9% sure it will be available by that date. In the meantime if you're having issues I am happy to provide interim firmware which is what I have been doing so that people have at least some improvements.
@DJxLight Hey, welcome to the forum!
I'd suggest making a new post regarding the game as it is more likely you need to optimize your settings. I've sent you a PM anyway.

    - Bad Visibility
    - Bad Team Balance & SBMM; always put me against stacked team
    - The game require maximum effort in your end to optimize router to be as advantage as possible
Fortunately, Netduma Comboing with Freshtomato saved my my experience. >70% gunfight winning rate satisfied me enough. Been maintaining at 2.7-4 KD averagely. One Nuke
I encourage you to ditch netduma (I only use it for Geo Filter) and buy cheap router (mine is 8$ Linksys WRT54GL) and boot FreshTomato FW in. and there you go!
