  1. So can I. Not being a smart A$$, Just giving my experiences to this so others can check it out. Not all ISPs may support TP-Link modems. Should be other alternatives and a variety of modems for users to use with there ISPs. Good Luck. http://badmodems.com...php?f=3&t=65000
  2. I can report that the R1 router works just fine with my SB 6183. Any broadcom based modems do not have these problems like Intel modems have: http://badmodems.com...php?f=3&t=65000
  3. Be ware that the Arris SB6190 is experiencing some FW issues seen here: https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r31079834-ALL-SB6190-is-a-terrible-modem-Intel-Puma-6-MaxLinear-mistake and https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r31122204-SB6190-Puma6-TCP-UDP-Network-Latency-Issue-Discussion There are two problems, ICMP and TCP/UDP. The SB 6180/83 do not suffer from this issue. This is an Intel Chip set issue. The new up and coming SB 8200 is supposed to be Broadcom based. 4. Has anyone tried a different game, say Ghosts or Advanced Warefare or anything besides BO3 to check NAT on two or more consoles?
  5. I to would like to see DMZ on the R1 however not for gaming. DMZ I would presume like any other router, would eliminate the gaming functions of the R1 for a gaming device in the DMZ thus causing problems with a gaming device that is out side of the DMZ and working with the R1s gaming programming to make it all work. Use of a DMZ would not allow any gaming program on the R1 to be used would avoid any router management processes and puts the device on the front lines and all ports open to it unhindered by the R1.
  6. Did you do a reset on the both xbox consoles using the both triggers and bumper buttons? There is a process to do that. I'd try the 1 - 65535 to test to see if that may work. Get a hold of Rusto via PM on here and see what he's using. Your ISP services doesn't have any NAT right?
  7. Can try using 1 thru 65535 and see what happens. You might ask Rusto1977 on what his settings are on his R1 and compare since he mentioned his setup seems to be working.
  8. Seen same issue with XB settings reporting OPEN NAT and BO3 reporting Moderate. We believe it's a BO3 issue and nothing to do with router settings in most cases. I recommend doing a factory reset and also doing a console reset as well on all consoles to see. Ensure consoles are LAN wired to the router.
  9. You might try to set up a port forwarding rule for each console, set one for 3074 and the other to 3075. Disable uPnP on the R1. Set up a Reservation IP for each xbox. Do the XB1 reset using both triggers and bumper buttons. Turn OFF both consoles. Ensure the R1 settings are set up well the reboot the R1. Turn on 1 console and check NAT status. Turn on the next one and check NAT status there. You might turn off both then reverse turning on the other console first to see if the behavior keeps or tracks. On a non R1 router I have, I used to set QoS up for 1-65535 for ports and point that to the IP address range for the consoles, i.e. 192.168.#.198 and .199 which were reserved for both consoles. uPnP would just handle the ports needed as each console was turned on. Worked like a charm there. Not sure if R1s FW allows for this kind of configuration though.
  10. XBL: PM me for GT Cable ISP: 100Down/3Up Idaho, USA
  11. If you have uPnP enabled and you have more than one say BO3 game console connecting to the router, say 3 game consoles, uPnP should pick 3074 for the first console that connected then uPnP should be picking up a virtual port for the next two consoles, unless specified by using a port foward rules for each console, then uPnP should be disabled. I think this should work this way.
