  3. Correct me if i'm wrong, but classified games are just a list of games that the DumaOS saved the UDP ports needed and prioritize? If not the explain to me what's behind this. it would be like adding those ports to traffic prioritization manually, no?
  4. Suggestions for improvement: -better wifi, but r2 has pretty bad wifi. So.maybe r3 could fix that -ability to disable features you don't use by having a management page, turn off feature could fix some problems in the pipeline, and get overall best speed and would make troubleshooting easier but turn off whatever is not in used -R3 should have atleast 2.5 gb support both in Wan and atleast 1 lan and the other 3 lans could still be 1gb each ports -be able to register manually server for games not in the geofiltering list to be able to use it outside those 10 games -be able to change the classified game list and add packets or ports of other games because now those packets they are not recognized as games pack but just priority packets
  5. This game is being out since 2012 and quite surprised isn't still in the classified games while those CODs and BFs will die in 1-2 years It has server localizations EU, US, RU and SA And playing on EU was pretty much great but they did add more server in EU that are actually very close to the RU servers so every now and then we have to play with disguised servers with double the ping. This feature will not only stop this situations but would allow the best gaming servers for any DumaOs user And also add the game the classified. I did already send my Wireshark captures and wich ports need to be forwarded
  6. Unless you get a big reduction with qos enabled with your download and upload speed then is better to leave QOS set to always to avoid any kind of spikes
  7. Default ip should be 192.168.77.1 If you change it or something did it, connect to the ethernet with the R2 go to cmd and type ipconfig /all It should gave you the gateway ip wich is your router IP
  8. I see that there is the adblocker, any chance it can be applied to YouTube? Exactly like adblocker does in Google Chrome. That would be huge and would help to remove ads from TVs and Smartphone Any help?
  9. I guess you have to double check your DHCP settings on the R2, if they are right then make sure your Modem isn't the one causing this IP conflicts. it's your modem in bridge mode? and DHCP is off? In any case just set your repeater static IP on your R2 like 192.168.77.XX and make sure those repearter have DHCP off or they are 192.168.X.1 for their lan to avoid conficlits.
  10. So the DMZ will only ignore the firewall but keeping everything else?
  11. 1) First had to double check that DMZ is working by setting up NC -l -p of a port of my choice and let it listen for incoming connection from the outside net on that specific port (or multiple) -Double check that the port is reachable from the net wich it is. So DMZ is working fine, upnp and portfowarding both disabled 2) Use the port 443 wich is the one used during google chrome download and set it up on TCP in the network prioritization -Start download and the R2 will prioritize that port despite the PC being in correct DMZ mode. Nothing else is connected to the R2 and Wifi is off. I guess only a DEV can explain why in the pipeline DMZ doesn't ignore traffic prioritization
  12. Pretty wild that you have things in DMZ still affected by Qos settings or traffic prioritization. In any other router I have used DMZ it's used to expose that particular ip device to the network so it skips everything both firewall, sqm and that's the reason why you either portforward some ports or use DMZ on devices that need it What's the Reason behind R2 not being able to correctly DMZ devices? Can you tag a dev?
  13. go the waveform or dsrlreport or speedtest from a device connected to the R2, what the results? Make sure QOS is 100% or disabled, same goes for bandwith allocation (reset up and down)
  14. Did you try the speed test from a device connected wired or from the R2? the first would be better
  15. Does it work without Geofancing?
  16. You need to put your modem into bridge mode (or DMZ the netduma device), everything else need to be connected to the R2, otherwise it will not help. Test your network over waveform or dslreport, and adjust congestion control accordingly (70% value for both download and upload, seem be working for most of the people, and you can adjust them later if not happy) pretty simple
  17. I've see you guys are active, mind to replay to me aswell or just ignore it?
  18. In any other router i've used in my experience Portfowarding has been pretty much the same. I did a test on DumaOS with both Portfowarding and Traffic prioritization for the same UDP and TCP ports and I noticed then those packets get prioritized even when portfowarding is enable What's the Router pipeline in this case? Shouldn't the R2 just ignore traffic prioritization when portfowarding is enbled? Let's say you have a VOIP gateway on UDP 5060, would you set it up on traffic priority, port fowarding or both? EDIT: Same goes for DMZ the point of having is to ignore everything on the router and just allow the selected device, did it on my PC just to found out it's still affected by congestion controll and Traffic Prioritization.
  19. How is possible I can't find an Import, export setting basic feature and why is so difficulte to implement LED on or off feature? Is it too much to ask for a 200 €/$ router?
  20. In a perfect world we would have 100% perfect control on wich software or windows services is exchanging packets with the net, but if you have a mouse software for example at some points it might try to connect to the server and gets updates. Even Basic Windows stuff even when disable will still try to exchange small packets or info. Unless the game is not one of the list there is no way for the Router to decide which UDP packets are for gaming and wich one are for other stuff. I'm wrong? And if yes why would you have a classified game list in the first place?
  21. The question seems pretty easy to reply but where is the real situation: I just bought the R2 but i noticed that the game i wanna play War Thunder is not in the Classified games list in order to prioritize those packets. I do have 2-3 devices connected to the R2 and placing my Computer as Console it's just a cheap option because then everything get prioritize which is not what I'm trying to do, wich means not only game packets but other junk get prioritized aswell. And one of the other devices is a VOIP gateway What is the solution here? Portfowarding the ports used by the game? I did already asked the game to be added in the Classified List but i'm pretty sure is not gonna be included anytime soon.
  22. Really curious to see how congestion control and traffic prioritization stacks against FQ_Codel by SQM in the Edgerouter. Can you provide some screenshot from waveform with and without Congestion control? I can eliminate bufferbloat from my net with the edgerouter
  23. And if you care to elaborate your answer. Of course I'm not talking about ping map and server location. Just Network congestion and Traffic priority
  24. Ok 'I'll do it, but I thanks
  25. War Thunder, they just got their 10 years anniversary and they are not gonna die anytime so.
