@BL4CK OPS V3TRNI am going to have to give that a try, sounds really promising. As I too am in the UK, and normally play on the London server. There is so much useful stuff in this stream, anyone else playing BO6 and owning a Netduma router should be interested in this info. It has been game changing for me.

So this thread has been absolutely priceless for me. I have disabled QOS, with only a PS5 connected to the router. No steady ping, Geofilter on. This is what I am using currently. I have had QOS on, with my PS5, and a single Mac mini connected, this was with setting that @PharmDawggsuggested, and I have to say this worked really well for me I would like to try this on my PC though it is being repaired, just waiting for it to come back. There is something that I have just realised, and its pivotal (well on the PS5), and that is to make sure the Graphics, and other settings are configured for performance, this has made so much of a difference. Though on reflection, had I got the game settings right from the off, I would have missed the router settings, and wouldn't have what I think is the optimum connection settings, and game settings, which is what I have now.

@PharmDawggThis is really interesting now, I have everything turned on steady ping the lot and its brilliant...

@PharmDawggI will give this a go and see what happens. Why are those settings only on the phone app, and not on the router. I don't use wifi on my Netduma, because everything I use with it is hard wired, and I have 2 routers, with one that does use wifi, so its not ideal to have both wifi signals broadcasting next to each other.

Those are the ports I use, and it always changes my Nat type from Nat 2 to Open Nat.

@Tony @Nj12 I have QOS off, I did set up the ports for BO6 too, and have found today that I get a better game play when not filtering (I'm still testing not filtering). Haven't tried knocking QOS back on though, this could be purely coincidental. Nj12; I am in the very fortunate position of having 2 independent ISP services in the house, and the only thing I run on one of them are my gaming systems, and there is only ever one in use at any one time. So congestion isn't an issue.

@Chaiyoabc@Tony I have just found this post, late for me as usual, I knocked QOS (Smart Boost) off, and the difference to gameplay, is insane; I just Can't explain the difference. Its amazing, and more testing is required. I don't use Exitlag though, just knocked QOS off.

@OGTakeoff95The only info I can give you is to look at a linux based firewall system, called IPtables, thats all I can tell you and its really not for this forum. I spent a lot of time with some success though I am done with Trials. Hope this helps.

I see, I don't use the app, I would have to knock wifi on, and I don't use wifi, so I haven't seen that page, I was just looking via a web browser on to the routers server.

What firmware version is that, this is what I get:-

I have Fibre envy, I can only dream of such a connection speed, I just wish I had that problem, and I don't think thats where the R3 sits, 5gb connects must be a niche market, and only available to 10% of the population of the country (UK don't know what it is for the rest of the world).

Would it be possible to have a dark mode setting for the forum, this is now the only site that I use that I have to adjust the brightness on? So many Websites are themed or have dark modes, just an idea,

It would have been really useful to setup file sharing from Mac to my PC, and file sharing wasn't working on my Mac Mini, 3 hours later, after some problem solving, and a reinstall of Mac os and its sorted. Thinking about it, fixing the sharing issue was the right thing to do. If the USB had been enabled I probably wouldn't have resolved the issue. P.s. I should have just reinstalled the OS, it would have only taken half an hour!

I didn't think it did, would be handy to have though, and I think there is a topic asking for suggested uses for it. It does light the rather natty blue LED on my pen drive, so it is connected to the power bus at least.

Can the USB port on the R3 be used to access Pen drives etc, or is it there for external power only? I have looked in the settings to see if there is some sort of smart share option, and cant find one.

At least once a day, though in fairness I do check to see if there is anything else going on in the forum, you never know. Sometimes there is the odd gem.

Where are the logs, I just cant seem to find the damn things?

Oh I should have mentioned, that there was peculiar stuff going on with the logs on 4.0.41 FW, None of them were populating properly, and the date line was just pausing, then it would redraw extremely quickly, this was all insync with the my game stuttering and rubberbanding.

All that was down to the R3 running 4.0.41, I have reverted back to 4.0.23 and all is well again. I am not changing the Firmware again until someone tell me to!
