  1. yup..... i guess not even the new update is working correctly. man one of the worst purchases of 2023. tons of emails for support lots of updates but unfortunately still get disconnected from internet or runs very slow to where all my devices wont work correctly. called Cox bunch of times and i am being told the service is fine. wish you guys would have taken this unit back and be done with it. been over 10 minutes and still wont load up. here i got again, restart the router.... this cant be normal!

  3. Why is this still a thing??? man, been almost 2 years and still annoying issues. Yes, restarted my router and modem done factory resets etc and it fixes it but couple days later same issue...

Faser, so per all my emails and communications with you i finally dont have an issue with the internet disconnecting and having to reset but now i cant get my wifi to work properly unstable and its all over the place. currently, I show one bar but a few minutes later it will go back up. this has been happening all weekend.
  5. couple times it worked flawless. games were smooth, hit registration was amazing it just felt great! wish would have enjoyed it for longer, lol.
  6. you just described the exact issues I've had since the day of receiving my R3. I currently have everything disabled (everything) just to get it to connect to wifi. range is not the same compared to my old XR500 and XR1000. i work remote so internet is essential to me. i was 2 weeks over the return period even though the week after i received it i came to this site for help. very frustrating. look cant even log in,
  7. while I wait for a reply email. is there any other suggestions on getting the interface to load on my PC? so far tried my PC and also a laptop and nothing. at this point i dont even care about the app on the iphone. however, i did notice that when you download the app it does not request permission to join local network nor does it appear in that section of devices give permission in order to turn on manually. maybe thats why its no working on iphone.
  8. yesterday did the new update. the interface worked perfect but still wasnt able to log in by iphone. today i was curious so went to log into R3 interface, at this point i really dont feel like messing with the R3 and being that i bought this last month I would like to see about returning the unit back. i just dont have the patience nor skill to be doing all these configurations. please advice. PS never was able to log back in with my iphone.
  9. any tips for the interface not loading on PC and on Iphone? if i reset it works perfectly for the day on my pc but on the following day it will not work again. for my phone app (iphone 15) i cant get it to connect at all. manually or by scanning the provided card.
  10. PingPlotter method? also been on for 1 hour and shows 0 for gaming. i just want to make sure its normal, shouldn't i have stats for prioritize traffic?
  11. does this look normal? i did exact settings and with my normal speed 1000down and 50 up i was only getting a grade of C no matter what what congestion control settings? so I adjusted my internet speed to 100 download and 50 upload and finally got an A+ but on the Bufferbloat text its saying my internet speed is too slow? does going from 1000/50 to 100/50 slowdown my other devices?

  14. would also like help trying to figure out why my gaming activity never shows any data? been playing for the past hour
  15. and yes i have deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times. other then setup ip address nothing else has been done. i reserved ip address because for some reason some of my devices keep duplicated multiple Ip addresses each time.
  16. my issue is that it wont connect at all either by scanning the card provided or connecting manually (on iphone 15). it worked one time when received it but since then, i have rebooted and reset with no luck. my new issue is on PC see the picture below. these are the same issues i was having with the xr500, xr1000. it really sucks to have to reset everything then have to go back and redo all the settings again time after time. I haven't had this new unit for 30 days, lol. at this point not sure what to do. i got the new router thinking it would be just plug and play..
  17. is there a way to get the Duma App to work? I've tried multiple times deleted app, rebooted router and nothing. any help would be appreciated.
  18. on smartboost i see that "Gaming" is showing online but when i switch over to devices it shows the PS5 as offline but last night i went over to advance ping settings and switch the congestion control mode to "always on" and that triggered the PS5 to finally show up as online under smartboost. not sure if thats what i need to do going forward? i split the bands per your instructions. i am a noob at this but could you tell me where to find the Wifi Analyzer? once i run this test will it tell me what channel to set it up to? last night i ran a ping optimizer few times and it put my download & upload sliders to 99% for download and 99% for upload. does that seem normal? i have cox internet 1g download and 40 upload. loving the router so far just the wifi thing worries me. in my household we do have multiples devices (same as before with the other routers) rings security system, tablets, iphones, printer.
  19. i recently purchased the R3 and installed it yesterday. i have noticed that the "gaming activity" is not showing any date while playing COD or Apex on PS5? also, when i got to smartboost it shows my PS5 as inactive while active online. have not messed with the router other then going to "DHCP" and reserved Ip's for my devices. last one, i have very poor wifi compared to my old XR100 and XR500 is this normal? i did order a wifi extender but just want to confirm if the R3 should have the same distance as the other two routers i mentioned.
  20. man i am not having any sort of luck with your guys products. so i upgraded from the XR500 to the XR1000 thinking this would eliminate all issues and it was working fine and now all of a sudden it stopped. been 15 minutes and nothing. the reason is i wanted to see if my printer was connected as i cant printer anything out but my printer is connected to WIFI?? just curious is this normal? did i make a mistake and should have gone with another brand?

  22. im i able to get to system information using, 192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm , because i cant locate it
  23. unfortunately it did not fixed the isssue. is there a setting i have that is causing this to constantly happen?
  24. i currently do have static IP's as i figured maybe that would stop it. however, i have them within the range so later i will try again with them outside the range. thanks for the info
