  1. Some bugs but it will be resolved and you’ve made a great purchase 😀👊🏻
  2. Do you have IPV6 enabled on Wan & Lan as I found this helped me?
  3. What is your internet setup? i.e. ISP modem, R3, pc, consoles etc?
  4. Click on this link and then download the R3 latest firmware which is V4.0.23 https://forum.netduma.com/forum/106-latest-firmwares/ Once you have download the firmware from the main R3 Page click on the three lines in the top left hand corner scroll down to trouble shooting and then select upload firmware. If the update doesn't work the first time for you. Reboot your R3 and then follow the above steps and it should update fine.
  5. C'est génial d'être ici et qu'il y ait plein de bons jeux Cod à venir pour vous.
  6. And yet here you are still 😃 The R3 is a mighty leap forward compared to the R2 and also the initial Netduma R1. I currently own an XR500, 700, 1000, Netduma R1, 2 and 3 and even with the current issues the R3 out preforms all of them easily. The firmware will be released when its released coming in here with negative comments and talking about refunds isn't going to make them release it any quicker. I'm glad they're making sure the firmware is as great as it can be before its officially released. I'm sure if they released smaller updates most people would still complain and say just fix everything in one big update. Steady Ping and Geo Latency and Duma OS 4 are all new features so you'd expert the od bug here or there. I'm sure when the new firmware is released it will be well worth the wait and everyone will enjoy it 😃
  7. Understand the frustration but @Netduma Frasersaid there was a bug with add blocker which they couldn't release the firmware. Obviously some people might be disappointed but Frasier also said the delay will also allow the team to include some more fixes and have a bigger update. Nobody does what Netduma does so hold on a little and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
  8. Yes I would for now.
  9. I’ve owned an XR500, 700, 1000 and also a Netduma R1, 2 and also now the 3. I have always found the Netduma’s own routers run much more smoothly as opposed to Netgear. However this is my opinion only. I’ve found the whole Netduma team to be very honest and always helpful, and go above and beyond to help their customers. They even remote assist over the internet to help users where other companies will charge you crazy fees. They did this for me personally when I was having issues with my R2. They’re also still providing firmware for the Netduma 1 and 2 which they could be well within their right to say hey we no longer support this upgrade to the R3 yet they don’t. in regards to the firmware updates, they come out much quicker on Netduma routers compared to netgear. I was always frustrated with Netgear and how long they took to release firmware updates. Hence why recently Netgear Pro gaming is closing at the end of this month. I have other routers in my house and in my experience gaming has never been better on PC or Console than what it has been with the Netduma R3. Even with the current bugs included, new firmware will come out soon and I have no doubt it will addresses a lot of the bugs. I personally would rather wait for quality updates rather than smaller little updates regularly but once again this is my opinion only. Poor form bagging the forum too I check it regularly and always see Netduma staff and fellow forum members helping out others which you don’t really see in other forums.
  10. Netduma will not put out poor updates. Understand everyone wants them quickly sometimes but it will be worth the wait.
  11. Just posting the below announcement from Netgear Pro Gaming which will no longer be active form Jan 30, 2024. I presume this will affect Netgear Nighthawk range and possible future firmware updates maybe very rare if at all. If any nighthawk owners have any concerns contact support.netgear.com if you have any questions. I'm simply re posting this here for anybody that's unaware or missed it.
  12. @PaddyDownload the latest firmware which is 4.0.23 https://forum.netduma.com/forum/149-netduma-r3-v4023/ Once downloaded on your R3 select Trouble Shooting and then upload firmware. If it doesn't work the first time reboot your R3 then try again once it's up and running. The auto update firmware does work.
  13. Great to hear mate enjoy and happy gaming!
  14. Not that's great in some rare cases the mac address of the R3 can change that's why I said just to check but you should be all good then.
  15. Check the Wan and Lan pages as it’s normally located in there. Alternatively you can also google router on how to set static up address and DMZ and I’m sure you’ll find it.
  16. You should be able to get an open Nat. If you haven’t in your ISP modem assign the r2 with a static IP address and then DMZ it again. When I first got my R3 Wan IP changed address and that was my problem. Just check your R3 MAC address is correct and you should be okay.
  17. @x12TylerSomeone in the forum worked out if your on console change the device to PC in device manager, and they play and it appears to make your ping lower. Please give it a try and post back your results. You also need to re add it onto the Geo filter when you make this change.
  18. With this set up do you have the r2 and R1 setup as DMZ so all ports are opened on both devices?
  19. Hi maybe try clearing your browser cache and settings and hopefully that will resolve your issue?
  20. It ups to you the R1 should be fine as you said with your setup. However it would be much better to have all your wired devices connected to your R2. Using the R1 and the R2 like two different units would work but not as good as having everything under one which would manage your network much better.
  21. Yeah it is the netduma team are working on 4.0.20 which will have this fix shouldn’t be to far away
  22. Hi there is a firmware update that should be released very soon to fix this issue. The Netduma team is aware of it and fixed this issue in the next firmware update.
  23. Also worth noting cross play was enabled so your playing with PC players with higher frame rates than what consoles get. I play Halo Infinite a lot when we get PC players you can tell straight away with the difference in frame rates and hit detection etc.
  24. Hi Everyone, I’ve been conducting lots of research and testing on Xbox in regards to the best FOV setting for console on Halo infinite. Due to the lack of information on the internet I’ve been testing out numerous FOV settings myself to see which is the best and what in game results I get. I’ve found that the best setting on Console for FOV is 120 by far. The hit detection both short and long range is significantly better, and I’ve noticed I’m winning much more duals than when I was previously using 97 or 105. On120 the gameplay is much faster so it takes a little adjusting but once you settle in you’ll notice your shots are much better. I’ve even found that when coming up against PC players I’m now wining most of the duals now also. I wanted to post this and share with my fellow Duma Army. Keen to hear what other players find with the FOV 120 setting for what is worth I’m playing in Australia but find hit detection is consistent in local and overseas servers now. Happy gaming all and I hope this helps out lots of console gamers as it’s certainly helped me.
  25. Thanks @Netduma Fraser appreciate it mate
