Help! Packetloss from XR1000
powermix24 replied to DDC's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Had the same issue long ago with my ISP, they couldn't determine why until a tech came out and tested the distribution box to my neighborhood and found out it was dropping packets. They had to get an engineer out to fix it. Sounds like it's on their end. Download the Speedtest app on your PC and it can show you packet loss and do it hardwired without the XR connected, just the modem to the PC. -

XR1000 is doing some weird behavior
powermix24 replied to powermix24's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I was surfing the net when it started acting weird when the internet suddenly went out, there weren't any power drops but I'll copy the logs if it does happen again. -
XR1000 is doing some weird behavior
powermix24 replied to powermix24's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yes, I can access it now using default login, it did reset itself to factory settings all I did was turn it off and on. The big question is why did it do this? I'm using passthrough and disabled the Wifi, firewall, and packet filter on the BGW320 when I got the router. -
Bought XR1000 3 weeks ago, installed .68 latest firmware, and yes the correct version, everything worked fine up until 2:46 a.m. last night. I was surfing the net and suddenly my internet came to a halt with web pages loading 1 image or just cycling trying to display content. The router and the BGW320 displayed no signs of loss of internet, I went to bed thinking AT&T was doing something this late at night. Woke up and the internet is still out, The Router and the BGW320 had solid white and the router still showed the internet was on, rebooted just the router, and now my wifi is unsecured and I can't log in to it, but the internet is back up. Has anyone seen this behavior before? What is happening here. Thanks! P.S I'm not new to Duma OS, XR500 user here since 2018, never seen anything like this before

EveryMatch i go into says the Host is peer no matter where i point and Geo-filter the server. I'm in Texas and there's a server in Dallas and somehow it never connects to it. Can someone shed somelight on this. Running the latest Firmware on XR-500 .130 Also Ping heatmap never shows the servers for Vanguard.

When I look in Geo-filter while matching with players I don't see any players connecting and sometimes I don't see the server that I'm connecting to. Is the game supported to work with Geo-filter?

I know for a fact that the RT-AC68U router has far better range than the XR500 running Merlin Firmware (I still own it). BUT there is nothing that compares to the XR500 when it comes to gaming. XR500 with a CM1000 docsis 3.1 modem as of right now is the best combo in my opinion.

Loving it, since I live in Texas

So far so good, did the zoom factor come with this update?
