is the best dns server, the one with the lowest ping to it? people say googles dns server are the best, but my isp one has a lower ping

The ISP's dns servers are usually and always lower. I use my ISP instead.

the best is 1.1.1.1 primary and 1.0.0.1 secondary. These are cloudflare dns servers and are faster than googles!

you can use a program called DNS benchmark give that a run and see what preforms best youl have to manually add what big dog poste dbut yeahnbig dog is correct with the dns he has listed it competed head to head with my ISP running at times faster and at other times just slower slower give it a try

Just so that you are aware incase you are not Victor............DNS has no impact or improvement to gaming, it is solely for web surffing.

And to the people who swear that changing DNS makes a difference, it is only a placebo, it's not real.

Download NameBench and run the test. It will give you the best DNS servers for your connection.

 

Mine actually came back as 4.2.2.6 and 8.8.8.8 (Google).
