Sorry for the bump but I decided to run Namebench as I didn't know any other way to find out how its performance might be...

192.168.88.1 averages 7.94ms latency
1.0.0.1 averages 847.20ms latency
1.1.1.1 averages 847.76ms latency

WTF is that? Where are they even based LOL -_- this is a bit confusing because the top part shows my default gateway, DynGuide, 8.8.4.4, UltraDNS, 8.8.8.8 then OpenDNS-2. Below that the list is shaded in black with the notes "too many warnings, probably broken" for BT-8 GB, BT-6 GB, BT 30 GB and BT 41 GB; below that is 1.0.0.1 and 1.1.1.1 with the notes "a backup DNS server for this system. Slower replica of SYS-192.168.88.1".

However at the top it says primary 192.168.88.1, secondary BT-8 GB and tertiary BT-6 GB. What does this mean? Which DNS does the default gateway convert to? And why is it recommending "broken DNS servers" for secondary and tertiary? I swear I just read elsewhere that using the default gateway isn't even classed as a DNS server :/

None of the stuff ever makes sense lol

Namebench must be pinging a non local server.

I get 16ms to google and 10ms to 1.1.1.1 using ping plotter.

I get 16ms to google and 10ms to 1.1.1.1 using ping plotter.

What's weird is I had 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 as my DNS servers set on the R1 and it says 192.168.88.1 is a "replica of SYS-1.1.1.1 and SYS-1.0.0.1" 🤔

It also says the average latency to 8.8.8.8 is 25.75ms, yet if I ping it on the command prompt it's 10ms or 12ms with -f -l 1464... that is on WiFi though. On PingPlotter I'm getting 9ms to 1.1.1.1 lol

If I get 1ms to 192.168.88.1 should I not just use that? Does it "translate" to a BT DNS server or something?

You have the router set as the DNS server that needs changed to manual 1.1.1.1

And no you are only pinging the router as a device on a network.

Not sure if it was my internet dying or the DNS... but last night I had some issues with things connecting very very slow

Still solid on my end MoD, I'm guessing something besides the DNS.

But you never know.

frustrated I just got a new NETDUMA, and I can't connect, how do I get the password for the Wi-Fi

It's on and off it's rocker for me, slow to open and load sites. Today I went back to Google DNS.
