Killer65malibu
Hey guys i received a message on my PS4, it reads as follows. I just got my speeds figured out (somewhat) now I have this , whats it mean to my gaming? The router in use might not support IP fragmentation , and some network features of the PS4 might be restricted. For details contact the router manufacture. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 28, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted November 28, 2015 Hey, Lots of people seam to be getting that error and apparently it is a bug on the PS4 firmware. Do you get it when connected directly to your ISP router?

Alex49H
It happened whenever you run the Test Connection under Network Settings and have your DNS settings set to manual using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Special_Ed
It happens for me no matter how I set DNS: auto or manual, or what DNS address I use.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 29, 2015 Have you set your MTU manually?

Nef11
I don´t think that it is a bug! I had the same problems after the new Netduma FW update...the problem was: my Internet provider uses the MTU 1492! And the automatic MTU on the Netduma and PS4 is 1500! So there is a problem between those to devices. I Just found out the solution: 1. I checked out what MTU my Provider uses. Therefor you can go to "http://www.speedguide.net"and click on TCP-Analyzer. There you see a MTU 2. Set this MTU Parameter in Your Netduma R1 LAN and WAN setting 3. Set This MTU to your PS4 the message shouldn´t appear anymore....for me it worked out
