fttc connection with the R1

i have no network and sharing center on my desktop i listed what i have earllier in the thread and having looked through them theres no box/option to change anything

Ok how many network adapters did you see when you followed the last instructions.

 

Can you run cmd like yesterday with "ipconfig" on the desktop. What does it say?

im connected to the plusnet and it shows

192.168.1.150

255.255.255.0

192.168.1.254

Mike I'm 100% sure you are connected to the wrong router.

connected to the R1

ran ip config and it shows :-

192.168.88.180

255.255.255.0

192.168.88.1

im in

iv left the desktop plugged into it an im on the lappy now

soon as the little baloon popped up saying little or no connection i knew summat had changed

right do i remove the plusnet one in line and connect the r1 to that or remove the plusnet one

If you have internet access leave everything as it is :)

not tryed yet incase there was summat else i had to do

ill go and remove the plusnet now and plug everything into the r1 and see what happens

No dont do that, check if you have internet access first :)

yup i have tinterweb access

 

Connect the rest of your wired devices into the back of the R1 or connect them to the R1 WiFi :)

soon as i take the plusnet router out and plug everything into the R1 i loose internet
