bagsta69
That's interesting you mention that, last night I wanted to the effect with or without so played 5 games tdm with filter on and 5 without it. Every game connected to UK south coast dedicated server. Hit detection a bit crisper and gameplay felt smoother with it on and had one great game with a Kdr Of 6. I'd say at the moment for me playing with the filter on is better but only just
secretface
Hmm I turn off all the time and don't notice that much of a difference. The Geo filter that is. I do truly believe my whole issue(lag) was something else (out of duma control) hopefully was that bufferbloat thing that I may have sorted out. But now that I have it sorted perhaps I will notice some difference. Also I'm in the northeast US which is probably one of the most populated areas so Im sure there is something to that as well. Good and bad.
bagsta69
One thing that I have done that seems to have helped a lot is in the congestion control settings page I have share exess ticked but have given my ps4 80% of the connection leaving 20 for all the other stuff. I used to only give it 30% I have 28 down and 4 up Bt fttc, Internet connection test gives me 11 ms ping

Dillinger
I have found that the Duma is working quite well at the moment. It's keeping me OFF my local dedicated server and allowing me to playing in the Midwest where the 62ms connection is providing me with great games/hit detection about 80%-90% the games played. It's not perfect, and I do have some bullshit moments, but overall I am enjoying it a hell of a lot more than Seattle.

UK_Wildcats_Fans
I live in San Diego, California USA. Normally, I am playing with party members that are all over the US. Therefore, I have not been able to play much (if at all) with the geo filter enabled. General Observations with geo filter off It seems the the party leader location has a big influence on host determination It seems that games with low ping tend to play worse than games with higher ping. For example, I have better games with a mid USA or east coast hosts than I do with California hosts. I typically find the best games with pings around 60mS. I normally keep my map view at the whole USA. I was very surprised when I expanded it to a world view. We were getting players from all over the world and often hosts within Europe. There is lag moments in almost all games regardless of the host location
