frustrated
Ok this isnt anything major, just asking a question. When im playing yesterday in pvp destiny geo filter set to 777.00km .Kept noticing a 100ms ping shooting up,ping graph all in different colours, but how do i find out who the high ping was,to then be able to deny again?. May sound stupid but still learning. Thanks..
BENORMOUS
If its ur in game ping graph then I'd say its the host you are connected to,if it played horrible you could allways go ahead and block that host then back out wait 2 minutes and research. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted October 29, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted October 29, 2015 Do you mean you can't find which bar on the graph corresponds to each circle on the GeoFilter? If thats what you mean then there is no way to do it at the moment but it is on the ticket system to be added in a future update
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2015 Destiny is primarily P2P so all players connect to each other, thats why there is peer ping as normal ping wouldn't work in this case. One of the players in that lobby had a bad connection, as Crossy says you'll be able to click that and block in future. For now, if it's really bad you could ping each individual circle and see who the culprit is, that would be quite long for the sake of one person though. frustrated
Ahh ok ..yes thats what im on about, when you playing pvp i see a 100ms going off the scale see one guy on red thinking...this is the bad connection dude but to be able to identify him isnt quick. Would be nice to click on the graph and find that one and block it. Im sure this isnt easy to do of course. But deatiny pvp matchmaking etc is awful, but net duma does its job well, just its trying to overcome a bad connection game.Hope bungie sort it soon. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2015 Yep that'll be the guy most likely! Yes it will be on a future update that you'll be able to do that. Glad to hear its working well
