Auto Ping Host (cannot turn it off :/)

Hi, 

 

I just got my netduma Router. Whenever I try to untick the Auto Ping Host feature (see picture), it just comes back on whenever I refresh the page. How is this possible? All the other features don't do that. I already rebooted/factory reset the router to see if it helped. It's mainly needed for Destiny. Anyways, why is it not working? Does anyone have an idea.

You are not on the latest firmware? You should be on 1.03.4. It tells you what firmware you are on at the bottom of the host filtering page. Here is a link to instructions on how to update: http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=manual_update

 

After you update make sure you enable cookies under settings>miscellaneous. Then click reset router to save the settings. Hope this helps.

Yebs Bucky have pin pointed the solution. To save changes such as disabling auto ping for good you need to have cookies enable.

Once you've done that, enable peer ping, that is ideal for Destiny as it is a P2P game. 

 

Also make sure to enable auto & bleeding edge cloud & apply in settings > miscellaneous
