marctec Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Hi, I've moved to a new home with 300/30 internet bandwich, when connecting netduma I'm getting 85/28, I've tried disabling deep packet processing, my ethernet cables are CAT6. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks in advance.
PharmDawgg Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 You won't be able to get that 300 download until the next update. 1.03.5 which is in beta right now. The next update will support gigabit speeds. Currently I believe the max supported is 125Mbps. This link may help get you closer to that mark: http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_is_my_speed_lower
marctec Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Well, it's not a headache this, just I'm affraid if it was any bad config from my setup. So now 85-90 download is max. Speed supported by the R1, if next update will solve that it will be really nice. Thanks for your answers
fuzzy clam Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 marctec...follow the link Buck posted and it should increase your speeds but as he already stated the next update will be what your looking for with your speeds, lucky dog...
A7Legit Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The next firmware 1.03.5 WILL allow you faster speeds, I read about someone getting 700Mbps speeds from their R1 in speedtests.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 9, 2015 Administrators Posted October 9, 2015 You should be able to achieve a bit more speed so just double check: DPP off, IPv6 off in settings > misc, WAN & LAN, reactive algorithm, sliders at 100%, reset device prio and then do a wired speed test
A7Legit Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Just incase anybody is wondering what DPP stands for, it is Deep Packet Processing and where it says Enable Deep Packet Processing have it unticked. DPP is found in Settings > Miscellaneous.
marctec Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 thanks to all folks, after this setup I get 112/29 I think it's ok for now until next update. Kind Regards!!
PharmDawgg Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Since this issue has been resolved I will close this post.
