BENORMOUS Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I've been playing a lot of AW lately and im constantly connecting to the same host 3007 mile away but only pingin 15ms too it obvioisly incorrect location, plays great for me so that's all good the strange is id say its a dedicated server as it's allways there but I can rate the host which I didn't think I could do with servers?this isnt causing me any trouble im just curious why I'm getting the rate and update option
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 5, 2015 Administrators Posted October 5, 2015 Can you paste the ID here so I can have a look at it please
BENORMOUS Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 I'll do it tonight mate for sure,I've been playing AW with geo filter off and it shows the host in the usa so it's defo in a wrong location
BENORMOUS Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 6b28844fc5a6e73 thats the host ID mate its allways that one and I can rate that host I feel if I blocked it I wouldn't ever get a game lol,may try it to see what happens
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 5, 2015 Administrators Posted October 5, 2015 Hmm thats strange, it doesn't appear to be a dedicated server, also it does appear to be in America. If you do block it what happens?
Sir_smooch Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 im loving the mystery and intrigue of this post!! a Non dedi that always seems to be on! miles away but plays amazing, what an enigma
BENORMOUS Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 I will get online later and block that host,im literally not having you on when I say I connect to it everytime i literally play on it every game it's unavoidable

BENORMOUS Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 My location is currently in the ocean and the geo filter is turned off so it can connect anywhere, what I will try tonight is enable geo filter put my location over the UK with strict and PA on and see where it takes me,if I still get that same host ill try blocking it and see what happens
