My understanding is that when you add a router you create an extra hop for packets to pass through which just makes the process longer. any suggestions or recommendations?? Zennon Posted October 3, 2015 Share Posted October 3, 2015 Modem(bridge mode) > Netduma > Nighthawk (In AP mode) would give you all the features of the Netduma and AC wifi from the Nighthawk in access point mode. That would be the optimum set up for me. If you do not already own the Nighthawk then the Wifi on the Netduma is great the best I have ever had on any router I have owned.
