DARK BAWGS
Today I finally replaced my old iPhone 4 with and Android. I tried to connect to my network on the R1 but I keep getting "Authentication problem" messages. When I look in the device manage the phone is not there. Any suggestions; I search on the Sony support site and did as they suggested; Restart your device, and then turn Wi-Fi® off and then on again. Restart the router. Check that your router is Wi-Fi® certified. Your device is Wi-Fi® certified, so if the router isn’t, your devices may not communicate properly. More Verify that you are in range of the Wi-Fi® router. Check the Wi-Fi® signal strength in the status bar. If the signal is low, or there is no signal, move closer to the Wi-Fi® hotspot, that is, your device that provides the Wi-Fi® network. Make sure that both your device and the router are using the latest software versions.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted October 2, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted October 2, 2015 Is it even connecting to the Network? "Authentication problem" suggests that the password is wrong or something like that. Could you try changing the password or make sure that it is right? If you've factory reset your router it changes from the router's serial number to the default password of netdumar1
