Clinton92
So after seeing some issues about energy efficient ethernet. So i decided to do some research to see if my modem had this. And what do you know my billion 7800nxl has this, Now what kind of issues can this cause for me and the duma ? Im lucky enough to be able to disable this option under my power managemt system. here is a pic of the settings should i disable it ?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted September 9, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted September 9, 2015 I think it was only a problem in some other modems because the EEE didn't stick to the standards. I don't think the billion has this problem - if it did I think you would know as you would find that you'd have to restart it often to keep your ping low
Zennon
Because you have had isssue's I would turn it off if I was you and see how things go. You had to turn off cookies correct? Turning off issues etc.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 9, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 9, 2015 Unlikely, as far as I know EEE wasn't causing reboots but would be a good test to try
